Probably the first compressor video that inspired me ever. Sounds fantastic and it has so many great usable features. Kris your playing with this pedal is phenomenal! It seems to suits you very well! 🤟🏻🔥🎸

Been loving all your content Kris! Not related to compressors or pedals, but any chance you can do even a short video on your current guitar collection. Keep up the good content mate 😊👍

Thanks a lot Anthony! I release a video about my guitars every few months. One is coming up very soon actually. 😉 And dedicated videos on my tele, strat, PJD St John, les paul, LP Jr, the Troublecaster and Bellflower (my two self built DIY guitars) and the Harley Fusion II are already on the channel. More are coming as told. Cheers!

This is one of the better examples of "signature" pedals where the smallest of features is meant to serve the artist's needs. Love this new avatar of the Ego. Makes me wonder what other pedals can be classed alongside this Wong Compressor where the artist's needs and style are so prominently reflected. Perhaps a topic for comment time?

Nice review, I love you share so much your personal opinion. Thanks.

Gotta keep it real, right? 😆 Thanks a lot, I think it makes sense to share it. When I watch a review I wanna know the player’s experience too, not just the specs. 👍

@@KrisBarocsi Cool. And thanks for your personal answer. I am a professional electric guitar builder, living in Spain. Some of my clients also do pedal reviews (like Alberto Barrero Juez) and even this same pedal. The way you set yourself apart is because of your comments on the product, I love that. Keep up the good work, cheers!

Seems cool to me. Personally, I use the Cali76 Deluxe Compact edition, always on. I set it to still retain my picking dynamics, but to boost and add a bit more sustain to my tone

No threshold or ratio ? No LEDs in order to better understand while the signal is compressed...

Do you know how many cigars I could buy for the cost of this one pedal? Do you have any idea?

Haha, Im pretty sure it depends on the cigar. 😆

Hey Kris, do you know the US music store Sweetwater and their KZbin channel? They have a series "What's on your pedalboard" that's really very interesting and you can learn a lot. Cheers, David

Not bad your Cory Wong impersonation 🙂 Too bad the pedal doesn't come with the Vulfpeck switch (instant funk skills) ;-)) I use the faithful Boss CS-2 and the mighty Bogner Harlow (more simplicity=sophistication ?) Cheers Kris

Not meant as a commentary on your demo, it's great and fine, it's just really hard to hear any major differences on KZbin for compression pedals. Not just for your demo for ANY compression demos. It's almost like one has to be in the room with it when in compression world. And truthfully, the best compressors are transparent. I thought it sounded great when it was off...great tones, by the way.
@StephaneBergeronPixelyzed Жыл бұрын
Indeed! But since this is based on the Ego which I own, I can hear its characteristics and the Ego is a great sounding compressor. With the Attack and Blend knobs, this comp is very flexible for any style of playing. I have no particular need for the extra features on the Cory as I already own the Ego but, based on its heritage and what I heard in a couple demos, it sure is a great sounding comp for anyone looking for one.

It's kind of the same as attenuator reviews on here, really hard to measure.
@brooksphillips2234 Жыл бұрын
I agree it is harder to hear on KZbin but I can usually hear the difference when on and off. Some videos are harder to hear than compared to others.
