Mr. Cosby brought the black American family from the slums of Harlem to 5th Ave., New York in a very quiet and smooth way. He told the truth on camera that we do have doctors and lawyers in other famous professional people in fields of Industries other than maids, street sweepers , butlers, factory workers or ditch diggers. We are not proud of him because of his personal life but we are proud of his Achievements in acting producing and his contributions to the arts and sciences, education. This,

Me too. I grew up watching Fat Albert and the Cosby show, and my parents had no problem with us kids watching his clean and funny comedy acts. If you notice, there are no good values like that on TV anymore, (and I don't buy that trash anymore). That man propagated good values in all of our homes for a decade,---and that is why he was attacked. In the minds of evil communism destroying our good civil values, Cosby was "Too Good", and that is what was destroyed in the minds of people younger than us who did not see and admire his shows. That is why I can't find complete shows on YT. It was pure evil, what was done to him IMO, and the GOOD is still standing today. I would love to interview that great man. Doug in Michigan.

Cosby is human and I'm sure if we dug into every public figure they've all done things they wouldn't want to be public. I chose to remember only the good things Cosby has done and all of that positivity he brought to my life.

There'll never be another show like it! A true gem which is timelessly funny and educational touching both adults and young people of all ages! I could watch it all day long and still laugh at the jokes. If I had a family I'd certainly try my very best to model it on the Huxtables. This is a show which taught me lessons about life, how to deal with young people and how to regard the older generation. Thank you Bill Cosby for sharing your talent with the world and gifting us with such an ageless creation! Thank you sir!

Harassment is harassment...and rape is rape...but only God knows what is the truth...I mean it is so difficult to have this wonderful person (and father in the show) being put in all those connotations and stories...but...guess...guess...we will never know...and even the possibility that there is some truth there...is already sickening....sad

"try to smear"? He was tried and convicted of rape, and sent to jail. No one is denying that he was talented, or that this show was great, but there is no defending the problems with him at this point.

Back in India in the 80’s we unfortunately didnt have this show on tv ....but I stumbled on to video tapes of this show at a cousins place ....and i was hooked . What a journey it was . I was so impressed with the way they interacted with the children , how they explained things to them , encouraged them to portray their thoughts , so very different from the way we in india were brought up , that i promised myself then ( i was just a teen then ) , that this was how i would parent my children ....and i hope i did so .

They've missed out on what television was really meant to be like. Thank you Bill Cosby, Phylicia Rashad & all the kids.
