What has happened to it since his passing? I have no idea. I love small towns like this. You go into all of the antique stores. and there's no telling what your Able to find. When we visited JD there in Tennessee a few years back I grabbed a cinnamon and a honey one and I would mix them together. Amazing taste combination.

I love the old town. I owned a store in Nc that was across the street from the local 50’s Hamburger drive in. I had a punk/ vintage shop and I made custom poodle skirts. It was a ton of fun! I met a lot of amazing people then

I love woodworking and making furniture for fun. I would love to find some of those barrels around Virginia and make several different items out of them. They are made of some very nice wood. I cut down a 4 ft dia oak tree about 1.5 years ago. I have tons of wood waiting for me to make something out of it. I want to make table tops, end tables, and stools, chairs out of all the wood. How cool would that be to make a bunch of items out of the barrels and the tree that were either grown and made in the USA. I am so glad you guys put this idea in my head.

Get one of the unfinished barrel's and you can stain in your choice of color and top with glass. Often you can find the glass at a garage sale or a glass table for cheap and just use the glass. How I found a replacement piece of glass for my front porch table. I had to buy the whole table but it was pretty cheap and just got rid of the base. I liked my base better. Or get a finished one if you would rather not "craft". I thought the barrels alone were beautiful and the prices were pretty good on them! They do very nice work! Fun to see them! Thank you!

@@OhHellMichelle no I'm north of there. My son is a fire fighter for fairfield township which is just on the edge of Hamilton. He runs in the area of where the Mosler Safe Co building sat. Yes it has declined in that area. It's know as little Mexico.

That was interesting but expensive . I loved the table with stools that would look nice in the cabin just to expensive. We had a hale storm last night. I need a new roof now .of course the only place there was a leak was my room . luckily it just left yellow stains on the ceiling. Some kilz and paint will take care of it. I love your adventures. Brett can't believe you didn't buy that Tennessee honey coaster for your new Tennessee honey, on a serious note take a 125 barrel, have someone or pu a patio fable top if small enough for your area and use/cut hole in glass and make the centerpieces your tap the crafter/woodworker in me thinks it would look cool to install tap cut door in bottom felt.
