I absolutely ADORE the Weasley’s home, our home is like their’s to be honest, it’s just a hodgepodge of bits and pieces that we’ve collected over the years,our cozy little home may never be in a magazine, but it’s comfortable for us and our animals. We have animals, stacks and stacks of books, flowers and our adult kids and their friends coming and going, it’s our cozy little corner in the world, and we will love and cherish it, like Ron Weasley said, it’s not much, but it’s home. I’ll add, it may not look like much to others, but it’s everything to us, in our own magical spot in beautiful nature. ✨🌞✨

I love this space. Between your channel and Early American channel (I told her about yours as well), I've begun drying herbs by hanging (I have lavender, rosemary, sage, thyme, mint -- some from the church garden next door and some from the grocery, picking up basil to dry as well -- and honestly, I'm glad to do this now because herbs always go bad by the time I use them otherwise!), I bought those dried orange slices last week the first time. Tasty, but also great for simmer pot and decoration! Simmer pots! I've always got a candle in the evening. Tea all the time now! Though I'm making coffee at the moment. Bought honeycomb instead of just raw honey (saved as much as I can but I really wanted to make a salve so got out as much beeswax as possible -- from one thing of honeycomb there isn't that much beeswax once the honey is strained, but that is fine). Got my little pumpkin and squash as decoration. Going to make like a potpourri thing later. I also made a witch broom from leftover dried rosemary and lavender stems for decoration!

I really enjoy a small inviting kitchen. Never interested in having a big kitchen because always felt the cozynes was not there. I just stumbled on your videos while watching Christmas decoration videos and this brought me to such a nostalgic feeling how life should be. My grandparents(God rest their soul) taught me DIY projects and how to cook and take care of a home at 7 years old. They taught me how to knit and crochet for gifts because they are from Italy and they did not depend on money they depended on gardens and lemon trees and wool from the farm to knit clothes and socks. I miss them so much and these videos take me to when I was a little girl making homemade wine and lavender tea and lavender cookies😊

I remember doing potato stamping too … also making pictures by gluing rice and beans on paper. By the way, we’re the same age!

Oh yes, we use noodles to make the frame of the house on paper, cotton for the clouds and rice and beans for the walls and the door. I’m 36 now :)

Something I learned by accident recently. You know how many folk add cloth to the top of their jars? I never really understood and thought it was just decoration. Nope. I'm pretty sure its literally to keep fruit flies out. I had one TRYING to get into a jar I'd closed of something I'd made. Was able to clean the area though with soap and water without it getting into the jar due to it being closed securely. No worries there. However, I covered it with some paper towel and then tied a string around it and added the label. The string held the paper towel in place PLUS it created a barrier to keep flies out.

Exactly my thoughts, I feel the stories were a huge part of my life, because they were a escape for me as a child. But her opinion is just horrible and not only that, they way she wrote, with such sarcasm, hurting so many people. People that I can imagine also might have found the stories comforting back then.

Ohh that’s so sweet of you!! 🤎 so glad you like it! 🥰 unfortunately, I don’t live in a cottage, I just try my best decorating and rearranging my furniture so it feels like one. Whenever you see an old entrance door, the countryside or even a fireplace, it’s not my home but a place I stayed in Austria last May and filmed several things to add to my videos, since the main character of the series is supposed to live in a cottage in the countryside. In real life I live in a little apartment in Munich. You can see a home tour on my Instagram highlights! 🥰

I know everything that will happen but I’m still writing season 3 and 4 😀 And also yes, I make all the props (letters, recipe books, journals, old documents) and it’s one of my favourite parts of the whole process. It’s really a lot of work and considering that I’m actually a full time bookkeeper, I feel sometimes exhausted. But I love it and comments like this one just make me the happiest! 🤎
