Sirius's goal: Cover the griffindor common room in Dumbledore trading cards. Imagine if he succeded, and they just kept them up/ couldn't take them down Harry would thing Dumbledore is haunting him or something. Then Sirius would be talking to harry though the fire, and see his cards were still up, or Remus walked into the common room to get a student, and all the dumbledore cards are still there.
