Well for the subscribers who are here, your videos are a huge blessing at this time of year. Anytime we post, we lose subs due to bots getting cleaned out or someone realizing that our content isn’t what they thought it would be, but the ones who are left, are the ones who really love it. I can totally understand the anxiety around subscriber numbers fluctuating and the worries around sharing things online. I think it helps that those of us who are here really appreciate you exactly as you are, and are engaged with your content. My sister and I have had our channel for about two years now, and we just hit a big milestone of...35 subscribers! Lol. But whenever I think about "oh, how could we get more subscribers" I try to instead remember that everyone who is there is there for a reason and enjoys what we make, and also that I started the channel because I loved just recording bits of my life and putting them online--even if nobody ever watched them. My little childhood self who used to love talking into a tape recorder would be so delighted that now I have a device to make little videos of myself and put them online. I do it for little Florence and little Sarah, and everyone else just makes a good thing even better.

I’m a fairly new subscriber to your channel. I enjoyed a few of your previous videos but was contemplating whether to unsubscribe for the very reason that the videos, although lovely in production, did not feel authentic to real life, which is what I have been looking for in these types of vlogs. I decided to click on THIS video and enjoyed it immensely. I loved it all. THIS is the type of video I find inspiring in my own life. To see how one can spice up their ordinary life in simple ways; to relish a day at home instead of always having to-do lists or go shopping for the millionth time. Your honesty is also refreshing. And the note at the end from Charlotte was what I needed to hear. My daughter and grandchildren live overseas and I have not been able to see them in three years. This was such a cozy and calm video! I love how you're trying to feel more comfortable and confident just filming life as-is and not worrying too much about the aesthetic of it all, I really love to see how happy you look just being your authentic self. Also the message from Charlotte at the end really hit close to home, this is my second Christmas that I won't be able to celebrate with my family, because my parents go away to work during the holidays, and this time around it's been really hard to come to terms with, because as Charlotte said, this time of year usually promises so much cheer and joy, and I feel guilty or "left out" for not feeling that way. Hello! I'm happy that snow came to bless you and all those yummy donuts looking so gorgeous! 😋😁... I remember our time on a Type 45 'Daring Class' warship close to the Arctic and it was snowing so hard that everyone was shoveling snow and hammering ice off our ship, bar the Captain and his officers steering the ship and warfare officers below watching out for erm, 'enemies'. The air temperature was minus 40C and we were dressed in winter clothing to withstand the terrible windchill. Still, even as ship's Doc, I loved being up at the helm working among my officers and ratings. That year just happened to be Christmas Day. 😂 My daughters and I love all your videos. Each are carefully edited, colourful and happy. You make us so happy! Goodness knows my family need it right now since my husband died. So happy for you and proud of you. The cooking segment was so much fun and made me hungry! My mom was a perfectionist and I learned that too. It took many years for me to recognize it in myself and while longer to let it go. In shadow work we talk about our inner critic and one exercise is to make a drawing or somehow acknowledge and visualize the inner critic/perfectionist and thank it for trying to protect us (mostly from outer criticism). I think it is becoming more normalized to BE normal. But with that comes unconditioning and vulnerability. I think doing things outside of your comfort zone is extremely inspiring and cathartic for most of your followers, including myself. Other people might not be ready to accept a more "normal" existence, and that's okay. Vlogmas can be quite overwhelming, also as a viewer. Suddenly multiple channels upload 7x as much content. Unsubscribing doesn't mean they dislike your content, but can have so many reasons. December is already busy without watching youtube haha, I'd rather have vlogmas in boring February 😄 I love that I can safe your videos bc you're one of my favorite channels! Your videos are 'crave worthy'...I enjoy romancing the ordinary, including the blue moments. If life were one straight 'high' [or any other state of being] without some variations, it would be exhausting. As a more “established” influencer ( on instagram ) I lose subscribers everyday and sometimes the feedback can be overwhelming. But your last video sharing the notes and crying helped me to remember the beauty of the humans behind the work that we do. It was very touching and helped change my mentality. Watching this video for the second time, because it makes me feel so happy. It’s so cozy and fun and comforting. That is why I watch KZbin. Not for the ‘perfect’ looking video’s but for the video’s that people pour their heart in and have fun making. And authenticity. Your video’s always look stunning. But imperfections make it more real and authentic and in some way better. I think that is why most people watch KZbin, because there are movies and documentaries that are the works of hundreds of people so of course they are more “perfect”. But still people chose to watch “imperfect” video’s made by one person.

Morgan, I love all of your videos, and these "imperfect" videos are my favorite. I often find myself taking breaks from channels that post only "perfect" content; while those "perfect" videos are beautiful, inspirational, and aspirational, sometimes that's hard to watch because it feels so unattainable. These "imperfect" videos are still so beautiful, inspirational, and aspirational, and they are also deeply comforting, reassuring, and validating. These are the perfect videos to me.
