This is the one! OK, I have been on the edge of purchasing every previous deck. In the end I held back on all of them. This one however, is the one. Love it. Thank you for sharing 🧡🌻 wow did it ever hit the feels. The mouse and the bird a moment of reverence. I could almost see myself leaving the some of the alternates in the deck.

Well I have OAT and SAE and Thistledown, so do I really need Heartwood? Yes. Apparently I do. Plus, if we are doing connections with the pathworking of the Tyldwick then perhaps the cottage is the abandoned gardner's lodge in the woodland at the edge of the vast estate surrounding Tyldwick House. Then if the Vintage Wisdom Oracle are the people, or the echoes of the people who lived and frequented the House, but are no longer there, then this cottage heralds the future of the House once nature fully reclaims it.

I want this deck, but hesitant because it will be as thick (400 gsm) as the OAT deck which I struggle with. I was really hoping it would be more like the Thistledown or OAT mini. 😞

HI Lisa, I am going to keep both the lovers cards in my deck when it arrives. As I believe they both need to be in there as they give two different meanings to me. I think which ever comes up in the reading needs to be looked at. I always remember the first time I read or discovered that to really be in a great relationship ( in the lovers card) of any kind is to first love yourself. If you love yourself first there is less chance of the devil card controlling you in anyway. whether it controlling you by habits and obsessions or another person. Well this is one way I read the cards. As you know depending on any particular spread you get different meanings. But I often look at the Lovers card and see where it is sitting in the spread before getting a feels on the card. There is choice, also with in this card. So many different aspects of the card. This is why having both cards in there will work well for me. Same with the devil card. I feel like both cards need to be kept in the deck. As it gives a spin of the conversation in a reading. But I suppose thats the beauty of having the choice. every one of us can decided if we want to keep these extra cards in the deck or not. Terri from Australia 🦘 🇦🇺 💜 🌸

I haven't finished the video yet but from what I'm seeing so far this deck seems like it would work really great for home and hearth witches or anyone who'd want a deck to use to check in with the energy, spirit, magick, etc of their space/home!! Or at least that's an idea it made me think of because of the way the animals are interacting with the house, especially with having the main character going room by room. I have to remember the coloring will look different in the final print cause all the dark tones in the prototype gave me a cold and gloomy feeling 😆 It looks like a really sweet deck though!

I like the soft, yet melancholic mood of this deck and I'm sure it'll pair perfectly with the Into The Lonely Woods oracle. Also, in your last three videos I've noticed some lagging as if they are buffering. You may want to check out your camera to see if everything is set correctly. Great review though!

I haven’t done this with extra versions of the same cards- only extra deck cards in general. I love the idea of this tho. Do you find it influences how you view the meaning (aside from obv context clues) or do you find you tend to keep getting the same version of that respective card more than a mix? Love the chaotic gremlin energy

@@SalemElectro7 Yes! It does influence me. So I have the Pythonic tarot and it comes with a male and a female version of death. So when I look at this, I view the death as an internal thing for the female version and an external thing for the male version. For the Tarot of Oneness there is a male and female version of the lovers. I also view that one as internal vs external. And with the Smoke, Ash, Embers there are two 10/Swords. One of them depicts a death and the other doesn't. So It just feels different in finality. So I just leave them in there and know that this deck as more of those energies in it and I am fine with it. Does that make sense?
