the key chooses 1 spot to spawn in, it has 8 possible location it can spawn in from RNG. It can be under a desk, in a desk, on a window, in a locker, under a stool, in a bathroom and some other places. If you die with the key, you lose it. If you see a Spririt coming towards you, go in a room and wait for it to pass then carry on going where you were going. The locked door is on the second floor (which you spawn on).
