The Crafts & Co Marble Run lastercut kit as sold by Action

This kit is currently (may 2024) for sale at the Action discount stores; it costs €14,95. According to the packaging, it has 445 pieces and is recommended for ages 14+.
It's a well designed product and a lot of fun, for a very low price but I would not recommend it for beginners, and in the end it needed two small tweaks before it ran properly.

This is a good price, I've seen the same model on sale in highstreet craft shops for three times the Action price. On the box it indicates that it takes 8+ hours to assemble; a zero can be added to the 8. I'm about half way through building my marble run, it's a great challenge and worthwhile project for the mechanically minded such as myself. The many small JO3 pegs are fiddly to fit into place, I had to slightly chamfer leading edges using the emery paper provided in order to locate them in the holes. Whoever designed this marble run and figured out the layout for all the parts on the boards must have a massive brain. Excellent video :)
