This song is totally fantastic. In fact the band are fantastic too and are responsible for some of the best pop songs ever. I encountered this song on SXSW around 2008 and I have been enjoying it ever since. It oozes energy and young lust and just captures that moment when,,, well that is what the lyrics are there for, to tell that story. After hearing this song I went on to purchase the Wildlife album which now sits in my top ten CDs of all time, it really is that brilliant. It is funny how some bands are enormous and we can have a lot of respect for them and we can see that they deserve a lot of praise and they are commercially successful. Then a band like The Crash come along who are 100% better than any of those top groups and achieve the rare and valued skill of instantly and directly connecting with me the listener. If this particular track had sold 100 copies or 100 million copies or not been released at all it would not matter, the genius and the creative achievement is still undiminished and every time I hear it I fell as good as the last time I heard it. I hope even one other person in the world adores their music as much as I do.
