@Jake-cy7to Technically, yes. But the "chances" are higher. Let's say you were breaking a box of 7th Edition, got down to the last 4 packs, and hadn't hit a foil rare yet. Is it possible that there is no foil rare in the box? Yes. But if there IS a foil rare in the box, it will only be located in one of those last 4 packs. Those 4 packs would command a higher premium than the other packs that were opened. That's why most box breaks are randomized either by packs or by participants, to eliminate sniping when things that haven't been pulled yet have a higher potential of being pulled with fewer packs remaining.

@@sdoren_9074 This is gamblers fallacy at work, the only way to improve your chances this way would be either the pack distribution is known or you are allowed to carry your buy-in to future boxes perpetually AND there is set distribution of something like 'there are X amount of foil rares per box'. If none of those are true then there is no actual advantage to be had.

2:28 lol crazy that wubby doesn’t actually know how magic sets work. Nadu was released in MH3 recently, foundations was already designed and being printed out whenever MH3 released. Sets are as far out as 2 years being worked on and completed. So even if they did learn from nadu, you won’t see any design changes for a year or two. Glad I could teach wubby :)

Sliver Queen is good because you can go infinite with that ability, create slivers that can tap for mana and create more slivers. There's a reason the card is so expensive.

I know I'll get hate for this, but I wish wubby knew more about the history of these sets and magic in general. I've been playing since I was 7. So many of the cards he skips over because they are "bad" in today's magic ecosystem have a history of being really great back in the day with the cards that were available. The meta was such a different beast back then, and I wish some of the cards got more love. That is all.

@@noddingout Did a quick search for legendary slivers that cost all 5 colors and they added sliver hivelord, which grants indestructible to your slivers. The first sliver, which gives sliver spells cascade/say you cast a 5 mana sliver after it you'll reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a card that costs 4 or less and can cast it for free. Kind of nuts since your sliver spell can cascade into another sliver, which also cascades. Then sliver gravemother, which says the legend rule doesn't apply to your slivers and has some ability called encore and gives slivers in your graveyard encore, which lets you pay the manacost of sliver cards in your graveyard and exile them to create a token copy of said sliver for each opponent you can attack, gives them haste, and then the tokens are sacrificed at the end step.

@@noddingout I only added overlord as commander, queen (tokens), hivelord (indestructible) and Legion (coat of arms for slivers). THe first sliver was too strong for the deck, which already has infinite combos with Intruder Alarm, Aluren, Mana Echoes and Training Grounds, respectively.
