Great you are getting your mom out. My mom just passed a month ago at 94 and she was great until last 6 months. She enriched our lives and we enriched hers, right up till the end. As for this Buy a Bonus ---- ouch. This hurt even to watch the entire thing. But, that for sure is gambling. You don't win every time. I have done a Buy a Bonus a number of times and it never paid back.
