The Jojo community has created a massive amount of great fan theories over the years. So I wanted to compile a bunch of them into this video and rank their likley hood on a 5 star rating system. Just a disclaimer, just because I rate it a 1 star doesn’t mean I think the theory sucks. I’m only considering how likely the theory could be in the context of the story. Anyways, all the theories will be linked in the description. So let’s get started.

My Personal Top of there theory, cause I'm bored "Mikitaka is an alien" is just one of my favourite, cause will justify why half of the side character il Stone Ocean ave Elf-Like Ears. 7 Stars "The World Copies Stand" and the "Star Platinum is Jonathan" Theories are just impossible, cause is Jonathan is still "alive", also if in a really weak form (probably due his high hammon mastering, that still remain after his dead, also making the Dio's body left side have less regeneration ability than the right one), and is Dio that can use Jonathan stand cause his have Jonathan Body. If Jonathan was dead, there will be no Psychic Link between Dio and the Joestars, and so there will be no Stardust Crusaders. 0 Stars The "Stand Gene" Theory is really cool, also cause the Stand are awakened by the Stand Virus, Psychic Links are a thing, but the main issue is that similar people will create a similar Stand, and so cases like Prosciutto and Pesci have complementary ability really differents form each others. 4 Stars "Black Sabbath is a Requiem Stand" is not only really anticlimatic, making Polpo a more worthy user than Polnareff, but also is appeared that all Requiem Stand have an high soul manipulation and a giant power, making the entire Rome city affected/or manipulating Time and Space from delete a person from this reality. 0 Stars "Jotaro is a Pillar Man" is just 💀. Not only Esidisi take the body of Susie Q, do NOT change his DNA, and also if the Hamon will completely remove any Pillar Man Gene. And than why Holly will suffer so much from the Stand if she is directly daughter od Susie Q. And why Jotaro do not have any problem with the Sun, and just why will Araki write that? -2 Stars "Diavolo Backrooms" is instead weird. I mean, there will not be what we mean for Backrooms, but in a more JoJo-Like stile, is not so impossible have somethings like this, also considering that one of Silver Chariot Requiem ability is the "Complete Alteration of All Life" switching the souls of living beings with otherworld-like creatures. 5 Stars + I want a official Spin-Off about It. "Diavolo is King Crimson" can't be true, because his develop his Stand after he found the Stand Arrow in Egypt, and this is also confirmed during the Final Arc of Vento Aureo. 1 Stars "All Stands are Sentience" is so far from the reality, having different cases that Stand act Undirectly from user will, but considering is often when a Stand User develop the Stand, is a pretty weird positions. 2 Stars "Pillar Man come from Spaces" Is cool, but also If, do not change the story if not making uselessly wierder. 1 Stars "Stand Undefined Ability" My personal theory, that say that the Stand have more inconsistend power the first time it manifest, cause is plasmed also from what the user think about his ability and how it uses it (Like the Ringo Roadagain Stand from Steel Ball Run, but for almost everystand) Cosidering that this could be an extension of the already existing capacity of the stands to evolve, and why have a similar case with Star Platinum. 3 Stars

DIO's Hermit Purple Stand is confirmed by Araki to be Jonathan's Stand. DIO has access to it because of being in use of Jonathan's body.

Diavolo is definetly not King Crimson, when evryone switched bodies, All the Sex Pistols followed Mista to Trishes body, while Diavolo and Doppio Both went to separate bodies.

Bites the Dust is a Requiem Stand/Ability, and you can’t change my mind. If feel like if Araki planned beforehand what a requiem is, then he would’ve made it that Bites the Dust is a requiem power

First, Requiem occurs when a stand is pierced by an arrow, kira was the one who got pierced by the arrow, second its not entirely clear but requiem stands most likely get created only by the specific requiem arrow. The requiem arrow in part 5 has a different design than all other arrows, it has that bug on it. Lastly tho, in your favor I'll say that the arrow in part 4 did actually choose Kira, like the requiem arrow did in part 5 with Giorno

@@BestMCCedits yeah, and during the scene where he gets stabbed again, we see killer queen flashing over top of Kira, giving me the feeling that Killer Queen was also stabbed. Stands and their Users are deeply linked so I don’t see a reason why stabbing yourself with the arrow couldn’t result in the same effect as stabbing your stand. I will say, the arrow thing has always been iffy on whether the requiem arrow is actually different or not. I don’t remember for sure, but I think there isn’t one(?)

​@@angrypvz1236 i think that piercing the stand is able to evolve it, piercing u with an arrow would much more likely give u a stand ability, also, the aroow in part 4 seems to choose who they want, in part 5 it was a matter of who pierced himself with the arrow, the one who did would be the winner, and if diablo did pierce himself and waited for the transformation, ot wouldve became a requiem stand

It was just the only stand arrow available at the moment, and since no one other than Polnareff ever found out about the requiem stands, there was no need for anyone to find a new one. I'd also add that, if we follow the theory that stands born from the arrow at least follow the deepest desire and nature of a person, Bites the Dust is not a requiem stand but a fusion stand. While the arrow piercing the stand creates a requiem, the arrow piercing a stand user creates a new stand if the user has an extremely strong spiritual strength / is bound by fate to do so / is chosen by the arrow. Having a stand already, the new abilities of Bites the Dust transfered to the already existing Killer Queen. In fact, a requiem stand needs to fuse with the arrow to be complete (silver chariot requiem is an incomplete requiem stand), and it also reverts to its normal form after a set amount of time, needing to be pierced again. Killer Queen Bites the Dust is, instead, permanent, and independent from the arrow, making it more similar to C-Moon than anything else

As for the Jonathan is star platinum, I don’t think he definitely IS Jonathan reincarnated, but is a part of him. We know there’s a psychic link that follows the joestar bloodline. Considering the stand gene theory, it’s possible that star platinum just inherited Jonathan’s traits also. The way I see it, part of Dio was reborn in giorno (his blond hair and the whole wrry nonsense). More specifically, part of his fighting spirit was passed down into giorno. Same with Jotaro inheriting Jonathan’s fighting spirit. This could have been because if the psychic link and could be why every Joestar besides Joseph has a physical type stand.

No, DIO doesn't have copies of the Joestar stands. He has Za Wurdo and Jonathan's stand because he uses his body. The reason the stands look similar is the theory that all hamon users get that kind of stand so to expand their hamon range

Hey Bot! So I'm writing a JJBA spinoff fanfic called "JJBA: The Fight for Heaven." The basic plot is that somehow (haven't decided yet) the pages of DIO's diary gets split across the multiverse that we see in Eyes of Heaven and so, multiple people come together to find the pieces before the villains can find them and achieve their stand over heaven. The Stardust Crusaders will be a group of people across the multiverse who found a page of the diary and will include: Jotaro, Josuke, Kakyoin, Johnny (act 4), & Giorno (post part 5, although he wont have requiem as I personally believe that he lost requiem because the arrow falls out of GER at the end of the fight, and as we see with SCR, without the arrow, a Requiem stand is reversed, also he'd be to strong in my story had he had GER) What do you think?

That idea sounds awesome and would be a great way to tie both universes together in one story. The multiverse angle is also a cool way to view unique locations we wouldn’t typically see. But I’m curious on which Josuke you’re using?

Theory: Boingo’s “Thoth” laid the groundwork for DIO’s Heaven Plan. “Thoth” has capabilities to predict further than other Stands. However, as it was so distant, DIO would have had to go off some vague illustration then transcribed into the keywords. Also, the Jotaro death style is called back to both times he does die just as “Thoth” predicted, showing both Araki didn’t forget about that moment, and that the temporal range of “Thoth” can be decades ahead, at least by 23 years, give it 25 for rounding it.

Honestly king crimson makes a ton of sense being Diavolo, but is disproved when everyones souls are switched, as if it was just one personality and one stand doppio would've gone to the same body as king crimson, but he didn't.

Many stands show such sentience, out of the top of my head I can think about almost all automatic stands in some capacity (Notorious Big, Black Sabbath, Silver Chariot Requiem come to mind), and also talking stands like Echoes, White Snake, C-Moon, and stands proving their sentience like Spice Girl, Sex Pistols, and GER. But the biggest proof of it is in my opinion Foo Fighters, for obvious reasons. I think all stands are capable of sentience, but for some reason only some of them are capable of understanding human speech and communication. Since their objectives tend to be the same of their stand user plus their survival, they appear as under control of the user while they're just merely following a command or their user's will of action.

The main theory I believe is when Risotto takes over Aerosmith Diavolo didn't use epitaph to see that Risotto would try to shoot him based on Diavolo shocked reaction in his eyes meaning it was only because Risotto grabbed Diavolo that he decided to use king crimson saving Diavolo from Aerosmith's gunfire.

The Dio has all Joestar stands theory is just wrong. The Hermit Purple that Dio is shown using in Part 3 is not Joseph's stand. It's actually Jonathan's stand. When Dio used the stand arrow on himself it unlocked The World but also it unlocked Jonathan's stand. However because Dio controlled his body he could use both stands at will. The Hermit Purple vine styled stand isn’t unique to Joseph as it's really just the default stand type of hamon users (note that Holly has a similar stand type aswell) ingeneral. However Dio never really uses Jonathan's stand because beyond spirit photography and fruitlessly wrapping the vines around something or someone because it's powered by hamon which Dio can't use. Or well he can use it but would be killing himself in the process as shown by Straitzo.

Ok, star platinum looks like Jonathan, but the only instance of two souls one body is doppio/diavolo, and judging on how seemless doppio can turn to diavolo, it's highly likely they where supposed to be separate humans at birth, but stands are the physical embodiment of one's soul, and don't argue about the emporio thing, W.R. was in a disk, but star platinum is a personalized stand, him saying he was possessed didn't mean anything, it just showed he recently awakened his stand. Also, hermit purple isn't really a personalized stand, anyone can learn hermit purple, it's like Joseph's explanation of stands a "spirit hamon" because dio didn't get hermit purple, that was Jonathan's body trying to fight back against dios influence and thus, creating Jonathan's hermit purple

I have proof diavolo is king crimson: when Chariot Requiem was activated, every person's soul swapped bodies with another. Diavolo had two souls being transfered to other bodies: the first was the spirit of Doppio and the second was the soul of Diavolo. BUT while Doppio's spirit had Doppio's normal body as its form, Diavolo's had his stand, King Crimson, as his form! This means Diavolo (or at least Diavolo's spirit) is King Crimson!

About theory 2 (dio's stand). What actually happened is that at the start of writing part 3 Araki had the idea of giving Dio all the abilities of all the part 3 stands, but later changed his mind. This all has been stated by Araki himself and furthermore the vine stand that he uses is confirmed to be Jonathan's stand, although dio has taken over jonnathan's body, he is still fighting from inside, this is also why dio says he is not ready yet jonnathan was still alive deep inside
