Delightful! The tension! The passion! Two lovers, riding horses in the moonlight, along the edge of the cliff, above the pounding waves, and then... one horse missteps and plunges over the edge while the other is seized by a pterodactyl! I can almost see it....

Ok the pterodactyl is a MUST

@@MusicWithStacey…I note that you render this piece perfectly… I didn’t hear any errors and the artistic interpretation was magnificent!! However, I thought it would have sounded better in the keys of C##, D##, F## and other ## keys! Lol!! Or rather…lol##

Well, as a full-time physician and part-time composer, I think a broken arm, provided it is (a) very audible and (b) insanely painful, is a perfect metaphor for this wonderful masterwork!
@LessThanScunions-it6tgАй бұрын
I don't even know how you managed to write some this into musescore... regardless of whether it sounds "good" or "bad" this definitely took a lot technical skill in order to force musescore to play it! definitely lives up to the title 👍
@MusicWithStaceyАй бұрын
Yes we collectively worked quite hard on it haha. The biggest notation problem was the bars that had more notes than would physically fit in a single line and yet a bar can't be divided in half into the next line so the notes are all jammed together like ants in a colony 🤣

I felt that it was like the piano alternating between just warming up, then throwing a tantrum, then mocking me, toying with my emotions, and then it killed a puppy in front of me before asking (or demanding) me to marry it. I am so impressed.

My son probably a dozen years ago found a piece called the "Death Waltz." This *iconic* piece reminds me of that "amazing" piece, featuring all 88 keys being played at once in rapid succession! Haha! I just wrote a piece that uses 128th notes (my first time ever writing something that fast), with a VERY abrupt gliss (lasting one 128th note) back into the chorus. Oh, how much fun we have with (in my case) MuseScore! Hahaha!
@MusicWithStacey9 күн бұрын
Yes that song [Fairie's Aire and Death Waltz] has been an inspiration for me and my students for years haha [and also for this song!]... a lot of fun and to be honest despite the madness it's a great way to get students interested in not just music but also music notation. Your 128th notes sound like fun too!
