You do great presentations! Thanks! Have you done the story with the preseason game brawl between the Cardinals and Bears in 1986? That one was wild!

The late 40’s were an underrated time for the Eagles. 3 straight championship game appearances, winning two with back to back shutouts. Led by, the now second, best RB in franchise history.

Steve Van Buren, who is criminally underrated. Same with Don Hutson from that era.

The AFL had that once. Dallas Texans moved to Kansas City Chiefs after winning the 1962 AFL Championship

I can't help but to say that this reminds me of that one clip from The Boondocks where Gangstalicious says in the camera "Man, what did he do to make them jiggas that mad?"

How come I'm not shocked that this happened in Philadelphia and involved Eagles fans. Absolute worst fans of all time.

What I got out of this was that Eagles fans were, shall we say, overexuberant even 80 years ago. But seriously, anybody else see in the article snippet that the same guy who shoved McDonald scored a TD before the game ended? That means he wasn't even ejected which is insane.

“Those cats were fast as lightning. In fact, it was a little bit frightening. But, they did it with expert timing.” But, seriously, though, as the newspaper clipping went on to mention, the Cleveland Rams made the Eagles and their fans pay for what had just happened when scored a touchdown on the ensuing drive with 25 seconds remaining. As the newspaper said, it was “an odd quirk of justice” indeed!

A good topic would be Andre Waters sucker punching the Saints Eric Martin after a game in 1991. Waters claimed after the game that he didn’t remember punching Martin.

Does anyone happen to know any brawls that occurred in the NFL seasons from 1980-1982, 1988-1989, 1990-1993, 1998-1999, 2000-2008?

This reminds of the time fans got involved with a fight in Madison Square Garden between the Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers. Everyone remembers the moment when Mike Milbury pulled a shoe off of a fan and beat him over the head with it.

There's honestly been way more fan involved violence in NHL than most people realize. That being said, 10 cent beer night at a 70's MLB game is probably the peak of American sports hooliganism.

Interesting you can see what looks like some US Navy personnel (with their white hats), but they're not getting involved in the fighting. Just a guess though.
