One of my favorite Jets related stories was how because the Mets in 1973 made their unlikely run to the World Series; the Jets had to play their first seven games on the road that year. Why? Because the Mets were the primary tenant at Shea Stadium and the Jets couldn't play any home games until the Mets were done with their season.

​Nobody will ever argue that Ken O'Brien was better than Marino, but he was a decent NFL QB and if you switched the two of them out, he might have had a much easier go of it behind the Dolphins elite pass blocking line than Marino would have behind the Jets porous one.

What ... the Jets doing something stupid? Shocked I tell you ...! Anyhow, I just googled Vic Washington and found out that he was actually expelled from Wyoming. In March 1969 he was playing an intramural basketball game and had a confrontation with a student referee. Vic plead guilty to an assault charge and was expelled.

Winning that last game of the '07 season against the Chiefs in OT really paid dividends. Costing them a better draft pick and forcing them to go with Gholston instead of the guy they really wanted, which was Darren McFadden. Let's be real though, that just would have been it's own video. "Jets draft bust Darren McFadden".

I'm gonna say rogers is going to be terrible. Like bottom half qb. I think it was a bad trade especially at the price he's being paid. You'll have a 2 or 3 year window at best, more like 1-2 to win a sb and I just don't think the jets are that close.
