Demons do this to cause confusion with your relationship with Jesus Christ. There is no past lives for humans but, slick intelligencent Fallen angles who do this because they've been around for, thousands of years, and invisible. Just imagine what kind of confusion they can cause. Cast the demon out with the name of Jesus Christ. Plead the blood of Jesus over your Children and home. Always and pray over everything you buy, and eat.

Well, I believe in past lives, and I definitely have a relationship with Jesus. This is your fear talking. I feel more love for God than I ever did before I started believing in reincarnation. Other countries believe in reincarnation without question; it's only America that has this irrational, fear driven belief in demons tricking us at every turn. I have more faith in Christ and a loving God than something like a demon having control over me or tricking me. Questions about our faith do not isolate us from God, and it isn't a sign of unbelief in God, and I know God doesn't take it that way. Even if we get it wrong, God loves us, and love is all that matters because: 1 JOHN 4:18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love]. My hope for you is that you find the merciful & loving God that allows questions. You wouldn't do dark magic? Anything in opposition to love is obviously not the best way to live and certainly opens you up to negative energy, ig the demonic trickery you speak of. These parents responded in love to their child instead of assuming it was demonic driven power. All actions have consequences to a certain extent, but life is hard, and Jesus promised hardships. "...In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 That is to say that something bad happening to you isn't always a consequence to your actions; sometimes it's just life. I think fear of doing something accidentally wrong and therefore having something bad done to you as punishment by God is an awful way to live and to see the love of God in action. Even if you are tricked in some way, and even if it causes negative consequences, God’s love and mercy are bigger. Shalom. 🙏
