What do you mean? Csgo and Cs2 are almost the same game, why wouldn't it have the same effect? Even though cs2 has alot of problems, Valve will probably fix it in a couple months.

This "game" (CSGO) was more broken in its Beta than CS2's beta. CSGO started off as an experiment by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment to bring Counter Strike to Console (hence the wheel buy menu and other features). Overtime, it matured and grew into the game we loved today. CS2 is currently being pulled down by the cheaters, the community's adjustment to Sub-tick gameplay and a lack of content. But based off how well received the IEM Sydney 2023 tournament was, the game is in a good state atm. But CS2 now is designed to further improve past CSGO and bypass the limitations of the Source Engine. If the correct amount of effort, time and luck is given to Valve and the Counter Strike community, CS2 may become one of, if not the greatest FPS games to ever exist. Which isn't a title alien to the Counter Strike series by most people.
