on takeoff altitudes are not called out like they are in landing

That did seem odd. But maybe the military opts to have altitude callout on takeoff because some missions are on short runways with nearby obstacles that need to be cleared.

The few deaths which did occur were Afghans so panicked about the Taliban taking over that they clung to the landing gear. It was tragic that it occurred, but your comment is dumb. Normally, the Air Force would be able to prevent civilians surging on to an air field. That last day was anything but normal.

That is its gross tonnage. Its payload is 135 tons That's not quite enough to transport two M1 sep 3 Abrams main battle tanks (~71+ tons each). Consequently, one goal of the M1's future replacement is to lose a few tons.
