@bible.animations study this concept further. The reason Paul and the disciples were not getting along with the Jews and the high priests is because Paul and the Disciples didn’t preach free will. They preached predestination and the Sovereignty of God. They preached the doctrine of the elect, Paul taught that the gentiles were also part of the elect, but the Jews were too dependent on the laws of Moses that they missed everything else that was written even in the Tora. Paul and the disciples were often getting kicked out of the temples because they preached that God was not in those temples. The Jews and the Pharisees didn’t wanna hear that. They misunderstood what a “Church” is. When Paul and the disciples went to preach into the temples, they were going to call the elect out of those temples, out from the World and into the body of Christ. With Christ being the head and us being the body. That’s why the definition of Church is - the called out. Paul and the disciples preached against tithing, something that pissed off the Jewish leaders because they were getting so much money from that. It’s not surprising that no where in the Bible does it mention free will. This was the biggest issue the Pharisees had with Paul and the disciples. No one has free will ever since we ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Since then our will is tied to sin, we have self-will, not free will. Only Jesus Christ had free will, because his will is free from sin. Our will is tied to sin, that’s why in Genesis it says our imagination is only evil continually. For somebody to have free will, it has to be free from sin. So that means you have to be able to will yourself from sinning. That is impossible for human beings, even when we want to. Because we sin even in our thoughts. Adam had free will before he ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but after that his will became tied to sin. That’s why no man has free will, because no man can will himself to not sin. Only Christ could.
