The Creation, Neglect and Restoration of my Jewelry Studio

EEEEK After four long years I will be able to make jewelry ! I'm so darn excited. Noone was using the patio, so we decided to make use of this wasted space. My dad thought that closing up the patio would make the house ugly but its already ugly so let's make it FUNCTIONAL ugly! What do you think? Yeh it's a little cramped but it sure beats sitting on the floor with a piece of wood and box right ? Who is ready to make jewelry with meeeee??? Raise your hand !

I'm tearey eyed bambii, cause I have a space and I'm slow to organize it and be in it to create. All my things, still in bags to grab at, yet, I could stand up and stack wood onto bricks for my sewing/craft table and it would suit me just fine. So many years hunched over on the floor too, in front of fans or making a divet in my bed, lol. I'm a year and half into grieving my mom who is absolutely in a joyous space, now. It's time to start mine. I hope my spiders play nice too. Yes, I'm ready to make jewelry. I always wanted to make belly chains and breast pieces like yours. Head pieces too. I'm a fairy and a goddess trying to pop back out to shine. Thank you for sharing this poinant piece to us. 💖🧚💕🌞 I might be limited to pliers tho. Condolences on your mom. Yes you need to get back in your creative space. Take a couple hours out of your day to organize and once you see how good it looks you will be so motivated to create. I promise you. Nothing wrong with just using pliers . Some of my jewelry have been done with just pliers those are the best tools to start with 🖤

Great team effort. 4:25 your neck tattoo looks awesome but I want to know about the tape - was it just regular masking tape? Could you tear it with your bare hands or were scissors/nails/teeth required? Need to invest in some myself for a similar job! You laid out your new studio so well after a beautiful job painting it - you are bursting at the seams with creativity and talent, Bambi! I could watch you at work all day - you are another level at what you do and I totally mean it.

Yess it was just regular masking tape. I used my claws (aka my nails) to tear it lol . They are quite sharp but I know they are some you can simply tear , you just need to find the sweet spot

I wanted to storm away and give up so many times. I needed to remember I have the gift of life so as long as I’m alive I need to keep doing what I love and stop letting sadness take over . Again I always appreciate you watching and commenting. Your kind words always do it for me !
