"For not knowing I became richer because I looked more closely." Very well expressed.

In 1968 I was a frustrated medical student who couldn't draw as well as my heart wanted, in making my anatomy journal of my anatomy practicals ( we did dissections first part of every morning, every day for 1.5 years in those days. I found that painting with acrylic paints on the drawing pages of the arteries and veins the best way to not only illustrate them but to know them as well. Of course, my journal was questioned the first time it was seen, but when my friends started doing it too, the professor suddenly thought I was a genius. Just a simple example, a bit gruesome for those who have not been to medical school, but that is where I found photography, in the darkroom, when my senior friend had an allergy and my job was to slide the paper into the developer. I fell in love then and am happy to say the affair continues till today. I am 67, I have won kudos, but am not counted among the those who stand at the top, but that does not matter, it is the doing and discovering that is the fun part of life. And then I found Ansel Adams.....1972, it became better.

Outstanding! One suggestion for Google, however. Leave the photos up or go back to them as he speaks. Quick glimpses are nice but love to view them as he puts them into context.

Interesting lecture on how to think about the photographic process... one major flaw was irritating. The editor of the video never left the images up long enough to really see them.
