He was rejected by a transfer student that became his chairmate, so he decided to change. He also learned how to use makeup from internet (like Jugyeong). He dated a girl, and then he broke up because he met her without his makeup on (he believed in true love).

We have Suho that don't know what he wants to do with his own life, he doesn't have any goals he wants to achieve, all he was doing most of his life was studying and studying. We have Seojun, who is kind of troublemaker outside, but it's just a mask, because he needs to get over death of his best friend, take care of his mother and sister and also is working pretty hard for girl he likes. We also have Jugyeon who was bullied because of her looks and decided to put on all the makeup to become prettier and just live a nice life, have friends etc. What she've never had before

Yeah, I honestly couldn't read this comic at all. It was totally unrelatable to me as a real person who isn't attractive and can't just put on make up to hide that fact. It was pretty shallow from my point of view, but then again, most people don't look ugly. So perhaps it is relatable to most people. I suspect it must be, or else it wouldn't be so successful. Whatever the case, the fantasy of having boys falling all over you is universal in my opinion. lol
