The coolest thing about the F1 car inclusion is that because The Crew 2 is still set in a giant open world version of the USA, you can blast across the country at 200mph in a Formula One car. That is, if you aren't flying across it in a stunt plane or skimming around in a barely controllable hovercraft.
The Crew 2 comes out on release date 29 June 2018 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The Crew 2 gameplay footage in the above video was taken from the Xbox One version played on Xbox One X.

mike.... mikey... pal.... buddy . Drifting is actually a aeroplane maneuver . What we call drifting in car sports was call Scandinavian flick in rally sport. (Side note : you can drift bikes as well. )

This is where I feel sorry for "iron Mike" channell. He drives a racing car in reality, mastered left foot braking (20+ years of muscle memory to unlearn). Sets blistering lap times on real life racing circuits and all his colleagues can do is mutter about not wanting to see his skid marks. You can so sense their disinterest.

Right? How is it 2018 and racing games still have the crash physics equivalent of a brick in a bouncy house when Burnout nailed mangled wrecks 17 years ago? I'd go for less mud spray detail on the shock absorbers inside the fender if it means my roof crumples when I roll over.

That's a really good point. I never thought about that. I guess if BMW licensed their M3 to appear in a game, it's because they want people to imagine driving and M3 and to eventually buy an M3. Seeing the car in a mangled deadly mess is counterproductive.

Yeah I remember that being a thing with Gran Turismo in the early days of that series. Companies would license their vehicle models to them, but would completely veto any damage to their cars. They wanted their cars to look pristine from start to finish of every race so that's why those games never had damage even years down the road. Some games finally got through to them and were allowed damage, but not realistic damage. Body damage only. Guess they were afraid if their car got destroyed in a game, people would assume they were unsafe. Clearly they've never played GTA. Car could have only 2 wheels, no windshields, and smoking from every panel and I'd still escape the police. :D
