The Crew 2: How to Use the Race Creator Tool

This feature really needs updates - here are the ESSENTIAL ones in order of importance: 1. Edit races - ridiculous that I spent over 2 hours making a race and now can't edit any piece of it whatsoever. 2. Delete races - I'm gonna want to experiment a bit - I shouldn't be punished by not being able to remove races 3. Better naming scheme and picture - I can kinda guess why the 3-word scheme was used but it is stupid. I have a race that basically goes across the High Sierra segment of the map but I can't express that. If you really need the keywords, have it as tags. The picture system makes no sense at all. Let us use photo mode. For the aforementioned race, I've got some random picture of something that looks somewhat similar. What a joke it is to look through random names and pictures to find a good race - 4. Show a race route preview in the menu - Show me the route for the race that I'm about to play. I've got no idea if it's a simplistic highway run or technical canyon run. Ridiculous how much of nonsense I must go through and how much guesswork is involved. The above are _needed_ very soon!

The Race creator missed 2 things, props and AI racers to play solo, i hope this tool get an update to make The Crew community happy...

We need for Motorfest the creator feature with props. The community will be able to create more content for the game... FH5,GTA5 all those games have a creator mode with props and if we´re taking a look to GTA5 the game is 10 years old but the community build his own "updates" with props in their races. (My YT channel have a lot of showcases how a race could look) Its GTA so the physic will be diffrent but I made a race/video of FH5 too.

Already found one thing this has over Horizon's race creator: being able to place a starting line from anywhere Forza forces you to start a race from an existing starting point

Difference with forza is that they have a start point on literally any road in the game

Super happy for this but I do hope it can expand to being able to use props (jumps, barriers, blocks), maybe change checkpoint width, laps, just a whole lot of creative tools Super happy that we can utilise this great map now though!

Love the update so much but here are things that I DO BELIEVE that needed to be in the Race Creator settings. -Instead of random words, why not we just type our own so we can name the race the way we want. -PROPS. Like ramps, wheels piled up, spectator seats, or anything you find usually on a race track. -Allow players to create race ANYWHERE. Not limiting only to asphalt.

I can finally make a Pikes Peak hillclimb! What I think it still needs is the ability to race AI (of a certain discipline) so you can race solo.

The only problem I have with creating a race it that it doesn't have a option to create races for boats, planes, and offroad. Why I understand the air race is underrated. It like that because the air race aren't actually races and I wish they were.

They also need to add the ability to place the starting lines and checkpoints in the areas that are not roads especially for rally raid and also why not allow us to make plane and boat races

This looks solid. How it works reminds me of the Route Creator feature from Forza Horizon 4 but from what I see... you have to get a little bit creative if you want to make *circuit races* - and when I meant creative I meant drive around the route a few times. It is also limited to the vehicle class that you are using when activating Create a Race while in Freeroam. So if you want to make an Air Race for example, you have to hop into a plane of that discipline. The good thing is that you have control of time of day, weather and other sorts of cool effects. It looks solid as I said. It was one of the features that I wanted to see for The Crew 2. Fingers cross that this will also be part of The Crew Motorfest too!

As far as I know, as long as you're using a ground vehicle, you can use whatever. For example, I made a Street Race event using an Alpha Grand Prix car

I can't Publish my map and I did everything I tested it finished it named it Put a picture on it, and it still wasn't letting me publish it. Cause it has a little lock on it, but it says it's unlocked. The picture looks like it's unlocked but it wasn't Publishing pls help me

This would be great but we barely get any rewards for these races, they are a huge waste of time bacause of the lack of rewards, give us the ability to make a race the same length as other pre existing races that give the same reward!!!

Doesn't seem like there is an option for that. You have to do it manually by driving the same route and placing new checkpoints.

Depending the distance length each track. More long race. You will get higher money,xp also have a chance to spawn the loot part as well.

I love this feature but there are a few issues I hope get added if the race creator ever gets updated 1. Add laps A looped track would be really cool and would make things like Indy circuits a whole lot easier and allowing us to choose how many laps there are from 1 to 100 would be great 2. how many ai can drive on the track in what car or at random from the restrictions Having ai on the track would make the races a whole lot more fun than just by yourself and if there are restrictions make the ai randomly choose from one of those cars in the restrictions unless chosen by the creator plus the creator can choose how many will be on the track from the full 11 ai or none at all 3.props (if possible) Props were added to Forza horizon and they were a hit so could it do well in the crew 2 it is all Ubisoft's choice on if to add props but I would allow so many custom creations to be made so seeing props in the game would be really cool
