Both games look pretty accurate in their representation of Miami, but I have to say, all these years I didn’t actually expect Driver 3 to be that accurate (except Dodge Island hilariously) if this game wasn’t rushed out the door it would’ve been a hit. but oh well

Level (map design) of Driver 3 actually makes you want explore, whilst The Crew 2 (as also many other modern games) tend to be very flat, having wide streets and generally giving actually not to drive of the road. It is hard to describe what I mean, but I think you'll understand me ppl.

alright i kinda get what you're saying but this is one of the biggest things about the crew as a whole, if there's a ground there, you can drive there. Crew (now 2) has the most OPEN map out of any open world game honestly (not counting your bigass boring and empty elder scrolls maps n shit)

Driv3r's Miami was way ahead of it's time and the most realistic depiction of miami I've seen to date in a game. Driver's insanely accurate Miami makes up for how crappy the game generally is for me

The crew's little havana looks way more accurate and feels better driving down in terms of layout but driv3r's storefronts and stores themselves are more accurate and somehow the replication of crusing down little havana feels closer to home. Idk they're both better in many regards in all areas

when it gets to the dawn/night time, its orange/red in driv3r but blue tint in crew ---- can driv3r be edited to have same time scale colours - do you have the file where you made the real time scale from night to day too/

The crew 2 obviously looks better, but that should be expected. Anyways, make sure when you’re comparing they are at the same time. You can do this in the video editor.

The video editor of The crew 2 ? I didn't know that but i can assure you that Ocean Drive at night is the same as what you can see in my video. There isn't any lightning change on buildings. It also shows that DRIV3R still looks great on building details and somehow the city feels better in DRIV3R.

Honestly, i don't get the hate on the crew 2. Haven't play it, but i don't see any problem, yeah the graphics are outdated but graphics don't make a better game, and yeah maybe is empty in some places, but is that a very important thing? Its a race game, not a game like gta. They should fix those things? Of course yes. But i don't think its a big deal that would make me buy it or not. I think is just nostalgia.

The problem is that The Crew "takes the place of DRIVER". So if it's not better, it has to be said because i prefer a world where DRIVER is still present than the opposite :)

I only played the first one but I have The Crew 2 beta too. I don't feel like playing it tbh, I tried anyway at the net cafe and that BattlEye Launcher kept popping up... FOV needs adjustment as well

Tout à fait d'accord, à quoi sert une map si grande si c'est pour avoir droit à des textures qui datent déjà, des villes sans saveur, des décors vides, toujours les mêmes touffes d'herbes ou arbres mal faits, des grandes étendues de sable ou de terre, des véhicules de pnj de couleurs unis, sans reliefs ni déco, et je ne parle même pas du gamplay...bref soit on a eu droit à un downgrade de ouf lors de cette bêta, soit pour moi ça sera un grand non et on attendra une grosse baisse de prix pour le découvrir

@@soetdjuret NFS Heat's "Palm City" is based off of Miami, but the map is very poorly done and there's nothing interesting to see or compare. I compared TC1's miami to NFS Heat and TC1's miami is far better and arguably bigger. Also let's not forget that in TC1 miami is less than 1/6th of the entire map.
