More about parts: the max percentages of affixes get higher the higher quality a part is. For example, Pure on a purple part will have a max of 3%, but on a gold part it will cap at 5% instead.

Very good and useful video as always. Regarding those parts in your storage: the will be replaced with the next higher rarity, which means if you have too much blue parts, they will switch to purple and eventually to gold. Once you have enough golden parts and gain new ones, they will also change from ST2 to the class you're farming right now. Merging parts: make sure you pick all the nitrochemist parts you have before merging, the possibilty is higher to get a NC parts after merge. Same goes to use a bike for example when you wanna have specific bike perks like leaning forward. Last, but not least: mix your affixes for different tracks. Like für example you have a track with lots of breaking, choose that Affix, that gains nitro faster while breaking.

I don't mind this game. I'm old enough to have played Driver 1 & 2, lot of the younger generation doesn't know that Motorfest does pay homage to the original Driver games with those "Follow the clues" type races. It's actually pretty cool little detail. Even the AI woman refers to the player as "Driver". 😁

Yes I agree. I’ve played games like Out Run, on Saga. Project Gotham on Dreamcast. This game offers a lot for the older players. Even the placement of the Ai cars on the routes. You just have to remember where they are. It’s all part of the fun. Some say it’s difficult or the games is crap. No no not at all. It just some don’t get the game when it comes to pure driving and the way the game is structured. Ie with using all features to get the max out of what a player is doing, or understanding how driving games where in the past. What doesn’t help is players wanting quick fix solutions. Wanting to grind for money etc. Not the way. Play the game,,enjoy what the game offers and it will reward a player in skill and the rewards that come with it.

One feature is missing though, the ability to race your own ghost in the summit! How are you supposed to know if you're improving on your previous attempt with no ghost and no split timing? There's no excuse not to have this feature, Gran Turismo 4 which is 20+ years old has it! Sorry for the mini rant but the lack of a ghost feature is something that i hated about time trialing in Heat, now I get on TCM which is all about competition and yet it's missing here too? Please tell IVT to fix it Trigger!!

Why can’t I set up the car selection options like this in the garage on PlayStation? For me, the cars are just lined up one after another, and I can’t filter them. It’s really frustrating to scroll through all the vehicles every time just to find the one I want to use. Do I need to enable this somewhere? Or is this only available on PC, like in the video at 13:10?

regarding that last one, the ubisoft overlay outright crippled the game performance for me (would even lock me out of the game if I DARED to open the overlay, even if by accident). So if you're playing on weaker hardware I absolutely 100% recommend just disabling the ubisoft connect overlay.

Honestly i feel like instead of having you wait to load into a lobby and then choosing a car it should be the other way around You should choose grand race and when the loading screen ends it should immediately have you choosing your cars instead of it panning around and wasting time before you can even press the button to select cars

You can prepare each car from class you prefer the most with parts, so it will be in top of your list. Makes it easier to navigate. When you have more cars with Max level, they are sort by the mileage of your car.

@ that’s great and all, but i use a different car every race, i don’t really have a favorite car, my point is that it’d straight up be better game design to just have you select your cars before even loading into the lobby You should chose your cars immediately after seeing the route load

I still have no idea what those like...all white car bits within a gold box are. Like I get them often after races but have no idea what they are or do, and I can't seem to find them anywhere. I've seen stuff like a rear defuser, a rear wing, front bumpers and fenders, etc. Seeing all that stuff I assume its new visual customization I get for the car I just won the race with but...nope. Do you have any explanation or idea as to what those are??? Please let me know!

It’s a random customization part for that car, for example a front bumper; it’ll just be a random one that you don’t already own. I like to use cars that have expensive customization parts for treasure hunts & races to improve the chances of getting customization stuff for free. Hope this helped a little!

Yes. If you go to customization and scroll through the parts you’ll notice that some don’t say “buy” they say “equip” which means you own it and don’t have to pay for it. (Cause you got it as a reward)

You can add the navigation line with the breaking indicator which is changing from car to car. Try to break before the curve, since some cars are not responding the steering while breaking. You can also press break multiple short times instead of constantly (like the real life ABS). Some times it's also helpful to hit the handbrake short in order to get the tail in the directions you like.

It really depends on how many friends you have. I had around 100 friends and it was INSANELY BAD. Dropped it to 5-10 friends and everything is much smoother

For some reason on PS5 zero deadzone is not actually zero deadzone. There's still like 10% deadzone when it's set to zero. Horrible driving experience when you're used to other car/ racing games where you actually have zero.

I'm on xbox, and it's the same for me. It took me a while and I actually almost quit entirely, but I got used to it now and I'm loving the game more than I thought I would, it just takes some patience and practice

Runs just fine if you aren’t running it on a potato, although i have seen a lot of people complaining about performance and the game crashing a lot (i run at a constant 60fps and have only had it crash once)
