I love Ryan; he's such a beautiful mess. I remember when I saw them at Cardiff Barfly. I was at the back of the surprisingly small audience and he crowd-surfed. He reached me and, with nobody behind me (I didn't actually realise), I threw him on the floor. He got up, hugged me, and ran back to the stage. He also stood next to me during the support act (which I think may have been Ikara Colt) and kept giving me his ever-popular verdict after every song, haha. What a champ.

sort of his trademark thing to do during gigs, or at least he used to. Because he points his microphone upwards, he bashes his face into a lot when he's singing, hence why his lip/mouth bleeds profusely. Rock n roll.
