It is indeed a pity there was no sound in the 1920. What stories those men who played in the first ever test match could have told. Especially as that status was given retrospectively.

Still its a gem to watch the 3-4 cricketers who played in the very first test 1877 in MCG. Great to see Charles Bannerman....the only footage of him!

The commentator has confused Charles and Alec Bannerman. Only Alec played in the 1882 Test.
