I think Yorkshire needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom in the Women's pathways/ Diamonds set up. Knew this sort of entitlement would appear when Graves took over. I also hope ECB tell them nope to tier 1 - As you said fund ur Tier 2 side. I feel sorry for the players & coaching staff rather than the set up - IMO thats there the issue lies. Will be interesting over the summer as to where we see players go - do they stay with their local ones or move further afield - as Sid said they're still paid pretty poorly so we'll see

I think it is shameful that Afghanistan is allowed to play international men’s cricket- period. I want to see Rashid Khan & co to man up and stand up for the women of their country. Afghanistan must be banned from playing any international cricket and their test status taken away, until their women get the rights to play as well.

What has Jon Lewis done to improve the batting in this English team? The batting collapses cannot be ignored; this probably explains his use of AI. I do not see them winning the WC on slow, turning wickets in Bangladesh. I'll put my money on India to win that tournament.

India never wins finals. It is only AUSTRALIA which is certain to win any icc tournaments. Rest are pure luck . It's either AUSTRALIA or England

I do wonder whether HK got the memo about team bonding and running between the wickets.? It is so utterly tiresome the number of times she either runs herself or her partner out.. As for the Irish topic the situation can be resolved quite simply by allowing teams in the RHFT and CEC one player each from the Republic of Ireland and up to two from Scotland in addition from other overseas players. It is not rocket science in the common travel area..

Freeloading 🙈🙈 such an unbalanced view on the Ireland , Scotland topic. You never ever give the positives Ireland women's team receive from being full members i.e . The cash received compared to Scotland which allows bigger salaries and a domestic game to be set up , the number of series they play against other full members as for freeloading i was unaware that Scottish women's cricketers just rock up at English regional sides and say i am playing for you i will now sign a contract , i think you meant English teams are using scottish players and the system for their own good . The facts are Ireland have been and still are better than Scotland BUT in a game that mattered they had a horrendous 6 overs and a Scotland player had the game of her life. As that win means women's world cup qualification Scotland have now fulfilled everthing required for full status, when that is granted i look forward to you decrying the fact Scotttish women and men cant play in the English professional game but when that happens as you have said a scottish player may challenge in the courts restraint of trade for a British citizen which any of the irish players have been able to do since 2020 but haven't.

there seems to be more Scottish women playing in the English regional teams this year than ever before, I'm guessing this will improve their skills as professionals now, and maybe the Ireland victory wasn't the fluke you think it was.

It's T20, if a full status side has a bad 20 overs and a good associate side has a good day then they can beat them , it's why Scotland's mens team have beaten full status teams such as West Indies, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe , Ireland in WC qualifiers . Yes Scotland women are improving rapidly , yes playing in regional cricket is helping but this ridiculous statement of " Freeloaders " when they get signed up by English teams is an insult .
