Funny. I was at a lecture by Umar Quinn last night about aqeedah wasitiyyah and he said after doing deeds for the sake of اللّه and in accordance with the sunnah. The third thing is Al walaa wal baraa. And I’m paraphrasing. But he just said it.

The concept of tamyee is a bid'ah? Remember, you mentioned concept. Concept and label is different. Sitting with Ahlul bid'ah is tamyee, mixing with Ahlul bid'ah is tamyee etc. The Salaf warned against those who sat with Ahlul bid'ah.

@@FaDeKraazy which one of the salaf using this mustalah taymee and if so in what context? Concepts can be based on real phenomena and are a (generalized idea of something of meaning. ) Examples of concepts include common demographic measures: Income, Age, Eduction Level, Number of SIblings.
