If you watch movies release in 90s or early 2000 with 2020+ sensibility your going to feel writing ok, comedy over the top, senseless subplot but you seen those movies in childhood you have nostalgic memories with that time sensibility. If you compare with today's movies it was 90s ( Jawan) same with gadar when I watch gadar 2004 it was for me titanic level movie but when I watch with 2023 sensibility comedy was over the top, dialogues are bad, action scenes was funny. You guys called flim enthusiasts but you haven't seen many old indian flims you even consider how difficult was flim making back in days while watching those flims editing was one of the hardest job if compared to today's standards
