I work near lifeguards as a swim instructor and probably the hardest part about being a lifeguard is becoming a lifeguard. You have to be really good at swimming and you have to have all your CPR training and stuff like that, but once you're a lifeguard unless someone's drowning and dying you just going to have to walk around the pool and tell kids to follow the rules

You can add a catalyst to have chemicals react faster, more expensive and I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be on hand. Generally you can also heat up the liquid to make it react faster but that’s not possible in a pool and it may result in different byproducts depending on what is used idk why I felt the need to type this but there you go 😊

To be fair for the car guy, I too watched a video as to how to ride a motorcycle and learned to ride that way without prior lessons (Besidees studying for my permit) Same when I went to flight school, watched alot of videos and flight sims, idk, I wasnt perfect but I was told I was the most easy to teach person there.
