How are you supposed to integrate people whose Holy Book tells them not to befriend Unbelievers?
@theshuriken5 жыл бұрын
@Tube Tube Quran (5:51) - "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people." Quran (5:80) - "You will see many of them befriending those who disbelieve; certainly evil is that which their souls have sent before for them, that Allah became displeased with them and in chastisement shall they abide." Befriending unbelievers is one sign that a Muslim is bound for Hell. Quran (3:28) - "Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them..." This last part means that a faithful Muslim is allowed to feign friendship if it is of benefit. Renowned scholar Ibn Kathir states that "believers are allowed to show friendship outwardly, but never inwardly." Quran (3:118) - "O you who believe! do not take for intimate friends from among others than your own people, they do not fall short of inflicting loss upon you; they love what distresses you; vehement hatred has already appeared from out of their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater still; indeed, We have made the communications clear to you, if you will understand." This verse not only warns Muslims not to take non-Muslims as friends, but suggests that that the rest of the world is out to get them and can't be trusted. 4:101 says that unbelievers are "open enemies" of Muslims. Quran (9:23) - "O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers" Even family members are not to be taken as friends if they do not accept Islam. (There are harsher interpretations of this verse. The same (ninth) sura advocates "slaying the unbeliever wherever ye find them"). Quran (53:29) - "Therefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world." Quran (3:85) - "And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers." Quran (3:10) - "(As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least against Allah, and these it is who are the fuel of the fire." Those who do not believe in Muhammad are but fuel for the fire of Hell (also 66:6, 2:24. 21:98). Quran (7:44) - "The Companions of the Garden will call out to the Companions of the Fire: "We have indeed found the promises of our Lord to us true: Have you also found Your Lord's promises true?" They shall say, "Yes"; but a crier shall proclaim between them: "The curse of Allah is on the wrong-doers" Muslims in heaven will amuse themselves by looking down on non-Muslims in Hell and mocking them while they are being tortured (see 22:19-22). Quran (1:5-7) - "Show us the straight path, The path of those whom Thou hast favored; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray" This is a prayer that Muslims are to repeat each day. "Those who earn Thine anger" refers to Jews; "those who go astray" refers to Christians (see Sahih Bukhari (12:749) and Sahih Muslim 34:6448)).

It's probably also tied to France's economic state as from 1945 to 1975 France was in a period called "les 30 glorieuses" which was basically 30 years where the economy was florishing and the french society was improving at a rapid paste, with a very low unemployment rate (around 1%), so it was for sure easier to make it at the time. So while i do agree that there might be an entitlment issue for the younger generations, i don't think we could boil this whole problem down to a simple entitlement issue, as this is more nuanced than that.

@@AP-xb4tv you are very uneducated France attacked Algeria because the Turkish overload ( Algeria was a part of the ottoman empire) and his Jewish minions didn't want to refund a food loan given by the french. the retaliation transformed into colonisation but the colonisation was very much different than the one in the Americas ( race mixing was prohibited , the "Arabs" had the right to keep their Islamic belief but if they wanted to be "become" french they had to be Jewish or convert to Christianity, segregation was light in the big cities). the french built the big Algerian cities as we know them today like Oran or Alger ( the old Theaters , hospitals and schools we're created during French Algeria). also the Algerian territory was designed by the french during colonisation. before , Algeria was actually not that big geographically... the french accepted to give them their independence in 1962 , Algerian should stay in their own country since their independence was so important for them back in the 50s if it wasn't Algeria should have remained French. colonisation is not an excuse to invade , rape and murder people who have nothing to do with it !! just an autistic Berber passing by :3

I lived in Marseille in 1965 and went there to live for one year with my aunt while my dad fought in Vietnam. Marseille was a GREAT city, lively, loud, colorful, with a vibe not unlike Barcelona or Naples. The Arab neighborhood then was relatively small, just a few square blocks, mainly around the Rue des Chapeliers. I was 15 and visited it and never saw anything violent or threatening. I went back to Marseille recently and discovered a gigantic Arab neighborhood from the train station all the way to the Old Port. It was filthy, stench-filled, and threatening, with very angry looking people when it came to non-Arabs. Islam and its ugly dictates means that Muslims will ALWAYS cling together against non-Muslims and never want to give up their ways. They will always consider themselves at war with others.

Muslims scriptures, that explain why they don't integrate. The Qur’an tells us: “not to make friendship with Jews and Christians” (5:51), “kill the disbelievers wherever we find them” (2:191), “murder them and treat them harshly” (9:123), “fight and slay the Pagans, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem” (9:5). The Qur’an demands that we fight the unbelievers, and promises “If there are twenty amongst you, you will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, you will vanquish a thousand of them” (8:65). Allah and his messenger want us to fight the Christians and the Jews “until they pay the Jizya [a penalty tax for the non-Muslims living under Islamic rules] with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued” (9:29). Allah and his messenger announce that it is acceptable to go back on our promises (treaties) and obligations with Pagans and make war on them whenever we find ourselves strong enough to do so (9:3). Our God tells us to “fight the unbelievers” and “He will punish them by our hands, cover them with shame and help us (to victory) over them” (9:14). The Qur’an takes away the freedom of belief from all humanity and relegates those who disbelieve in Islam to hell (5:10), calls them najis (filthy, untouchable, impure) (9:28), and orders its followers to fight the unbelievers until no other religion except Islam is left (2:193). The Qur’an prohibits a Muslim from befriending a non-believer even if that non-believer is the father or the brother of that Muslim (9:23), (3:28). Our holy book asks us to be disobedient towards the disbelievers and their governments and strive against the unbelievers with great endeavour” (25:52) and be stern with them because they belong to Hell (66:9). The holy Prophet prescribes fighting for us and tells us that “it is good for us even if we dislike it” (2:216). Then he advises us to “strike off the heads of the disbelievers”; and after making a “wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives” (47:4). Our God has promised to “instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers” and has ordered us to “smite above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them” (8:12).

@@whocares5584 Seriously the Quran reads like a slightly evolved version of Mein Kampf. It's pretty obvious most white folk have never even opened up a Quran. Here's a fun game at parties, open a copy of the Quran and pick any page at random. Take a drink every time the book mentions something hateful or contemptuous. I've played the game quite a bit and the book is just drenched in narrative of creating contempt for "the non believer". It's a book of pure fascism, the kind that would make Hitler blush. The Quran was created to create disciplined obedient members of the Islamic caliphate, it's an instruction manual for the fascist. I was truly interested in Islam for a while but I just couldn't get past how much hatred was drenched in that book. No other book works so hard at creating such a harsh division between those who follows the rules and those who don't.

My family is Indian. We lived in 3 continents: Asia, Africa and Europe. Settled in Mozambique for decades. My grandpa moved there at age 13. Started life with no money, lived in peace and worked hard over there. Then Portugal decided to expel us from Mozambique (a Portuguese colony) to India, in retaliation to India's takeover of Goa, Diu and Daman. We returned to India empty handed. Again we started from zero ,worked hard and lived in peace in India. Later on, part of the family returned to Mozambique only to be shown the door a few years later: Portugal quit Mozambique and Mozambique expelled all non natives. Again, we moved to another country empty handed. This time we settled in Portugal. We worked hard and lived peacefully in Portugal too. The economy of Portugal almost collapsed in 2011. We were destined to move once more to another country and start it all over again. This time we settled in UK. It's really tragic for three generations of a family to face the same kind of hardships, one generation after the other. But unlike some Muslims and other minorities we never blamed the government or society for our miserable condition. It was damn hard for my grandfather when he first landed in African shores to integrate. It was equally hard for my parents when we settled in Portugal and later on in UK. It was a challenge on multiple fronts: linguistic, cultural and economic. But we never blamed society or the government of our adopting countries, even though there was a strong case for the later, when Portugal kicked us out of Mozambique and Mozambique kicked us out later on. We just worked hard and lived peacefully with everyone. SHAME on Muslims and other minorities who play the victim card despite having all the means and resources to uplift themselves from poverty. You SUCK.

Right, 7000 people in the building it says. If they organize themselves, and even just 1 in 10 participates, they have 700 people to clean up the area around their own building. Do this for a weekend and there will be a significant difference. It would also show to the municipality, that they are willing to make an effort to keep it clean, and perhaps stimulate them to provide support. If they just send garbage trucks, a month later it probably looks exactly the same.

Wow.. I am very surprised by what she said, “France didn’t give us a chance to integrate”.. I am from Asia and married a french man as living in french territory. The main reason that France has been suffering from this huge conflicts is because France has been giving so much welfare benefits to everybody including immigrants. This brought more and more immigrants to France. As I am an immigrant, I think French Government has been way too generous for humanity or equality or human rights what so ever.. almost free education, free medical service, social money for raising kids, help to pay rent, even utility bills for people who get paid under certain amount of money.. to be honest there’s no excuse you can not have a jobs and proper life in France. They absolutely give many chances and helps. Any way all of these benefits made people don’t really want to work hard. Because if they work too hard and getting paid a little bit more than minimum wage, they will lose this helps from government. It’s really vicious circle. I see a lot of people are stuck in this circle, don’t work, stay poor entire their life. I don’t want to say to my husband’s country but yeah France is sinking.

First they went on a colonization spree around Africa and Asia, siphoned their natural resources, and aggressively pushed French culture on them but nothing was ever enough they were also trying to steal land and coal from neighboring Germany so the starving Germans rallied around a mad man who invaded France. The French conscripted millions of men in the army from their colonies to help fight Germany and Italy (on some occasions gave them carte blanche to rape and loot in Germany and Italy if they fought hard in battles!). Since they lost millions of young men in WW2, they imported millions of workers from the colonies to help rebuild France. But the story doesn't end there, whenever a colony demanded independence France shipped her army of slaves to oppress and kill those who wanted freedom as in Vietnam and Algeria. If you're told you're French and you should die for France then nobody has the right to ask you to leave! Imagine if America told blacks to go back to Africa!

" French Multiculturalism"? But France is not a multiculturalist country. It's a universalist country. Ever heard of republican universalism ? Well that's french. It's this idea that some core values (life, freedom, equality...) are superior to others. That's the opposite of multiculturalism. So, given that, why do you expect other cultures to survive in France ? And the awesome thing with universalism is that to be french, you only need to agree with that idea. Whereas being muslim, for example, is a bit more complicated and less easy for women, to say the least. But I am drifting. Fuck multiculturalism.

I will say this: multiculturalism works in nations the had no strongly defined culture before. I mean of course the USA, Canada... Look at New York. Here live 20 million people, representing every single race, religion, nationality, and skin color ON EARTH. Do we kill each other? Do we hate each other? No, we largely live in peace! Furthermore, ask any of us who we are and we shall say New Yorkers, Americans. Not Muslims or Christians. But this approach doesn't work in Europe. It just does not. Analyze it, study it, but that's the bottom line. Maybe because Europe is closer to Africa or the Middle East; maybe despite it. Immigrants assimilate and thrive in North America. Come here instead!
