Patara is working with Pinball Preparedness; he's set up a go fund me ($187,000 at last review) and they've taken big trucks and convoys of supplies to towns in NE Tennessee and western North Carolina. They'll be working for some time - they're hauling supplies by the pallet-load, everything from water, diapers, pet food, regular food, shovels, etc.

Ron Desantis ordered the National Guard to keep the ports in Florida open and said they would hire workers. Somehow they magically came up with this deal to temporarily stop the strike. All the coastal states should do this. We should not be held hostage by the likes of Harold Dagget.

They're making a lot of advances and battery technology it won't be long cars will be able to charge and work well in cold. We're just at the beginning of this electric car stuff if Biden would have put Elon in charge of the charging stations we'd have them across the country already but we had to spend I think it was 4 billion and with that money they've currently added 8 charging stations in 3 years Bidenomics in action. we don't like Elon anymore because he took over Twitter and made it a free speech platform. Also they didn't give Elon the contract for internet in the rural areas and they still don't have internet even though Elon has satellites circling the globe and you can get internet anywhere they're not going to choose him because I don't like his freedom of speech platform. We got to get rid of the current failed administration.

Income taxes are unconstitutional as well. We should have a consumption tax on new goods only around 15%. Half goes to state the other half to federal.

Hi, dan.I work in retail in olympia, washington in a big retail store. I do weekly price checks on all of our items. And they are constantly going up and I don't mean by a dollar, I mean by five dollars or ten dollars. It's a large farm supply store, so i'm talking.Feed necessity supplies for families and farms. No joke.I've been there a year now, and in this last year.I cannot believe that a lot of our items are fifty percent higher. If I continue to stay working there because my employee discount is good

We're going through another round of strikes because of inflation I saw the same thing happen in the '70s when we had high inflation it was strike after strike after strike until they put wage in price controls in place. About 2 years ago, I loved a great commercial on KZbin.The person, was holding up a chocolate covered donut, and wiping it with a tissue simulating, a restroom experience, sitting, on the toilet. He then demonstrated a Bidet, a hose attachment, that could be installed to our existing toilet. He sprayed, another donut clean, with the nozzle. It was a, funny commercial. Yeah it's postponed till January 15th when the election will be over The Democrats have too much chaos to deal with so the union made a deal to renegotiate after the election but they did settle on the wage portion I believe. The main reason they went on strike is because the robots are coming and they want guarantees they won't be replaced yet Good luck on that one. I was thinking the ports should just negotiate any type of contract for the next 5 years or so because automation will be much better 5 years from now so in the meantime they can be purchasing and installing all the automated equipment and then when the contracts up they go on strike The ports will say very nice and don't come back. Same kind of stupidity that car maker Selantis Jeep Chrysler Dodge is doing right now they can't sell vehicles so the unions going on strike The companies just says great we were going to close that plant down anyway All the car dealer lots are full of cars. The dealers are not taking anymore vehicles we can't make them right now because we have nowhere to put them. Because we raised our prices 100% in the last 10 years and now nobody can afford them anymore Plus everybody's broke in this economy thanks to Bidenomics.

The prices are skyrocketing because of greed by the auto manufacturers they're not making cars people want folks want an economical car they can afford all manufacturers want do is make very expensive vehicles with high profit margins stalantis has doubled their car prices on all models for example in the last 10 years. $40,000 cars are now $80,000 people can't afford 75,000 pickup trucks That's why they're not selling. Manufacturers are no longer making cars not enough profit. stalantis just canceled there basic pickup truck. But the robotaxi is coming and will change the industry Tony sebo said in the next seven eight years it will be cheaper to use a robitaxi than it will be to put gas in your car. at that point people won't buy cars anymore. It's called a disruption. Just like the robots are coming this is another disruption and the dock worker see it coming this is why they're going on strike.

Those who care about America have got to start voting in their LOCAL ELECTIONS... Today's local leaders are tomorrow's national leaders... Start rebuilding your local government from the very lowest levels first and then work up from there. Many local races are decided by just a handful of votes so make sure that your vote is counted among them.

I was fortunate to have worked my entire career only being laid off for maybe 6 months and was able to collect unemployment during that time and I did make a good wage and therefore could never qualify for any government assistance The only inequity here is that people on food stamps probably spent more money on food for their family than I could.

I am an artist, and trade my art for things I need or want. Just got a Range Rover in pristine condition and service records for a small art piece. It is so gratifying when this happens, because sometimes I wonder if my art is appreciated.I would never pay $80,000 for one from the dealership. I used to restore collector cars in the past, and know how to work on them myself. Otherwise these cars are too expensive to maintain if you have to pay the dealership.

I'm not sure what other agency could be used but I have heard go fund me keeps 30% and will not release the monies to individuals, only to an organization. People are having trouble retrieving the funds for individuals in need and so they end up donating it to the very organizations that no one wanted to donate to in the first place.

East coast doc workers get 60% increase in pay. The west coast dock workers are now under paid and will also want equal pay for equal work. West coast docks is where shipments from China go to.

I agree, that old formula about how to use your money is not possible in today’s expensive urban and suburban areas because income hasn’t kept up with the cost of living. That alone makes it hard and next to impossible to save over time and invest. These people either have to find a way to boost their income, or move to more affordable locations, but that’s not necessarily going to work either because there are less of them and your income will adjust downward as well to the less expensive area. So, you are looking at marrying a spouse who also works and makes good money, delaying a family, not having a family, etc…. It’s super tough… and Dems are clueless about doing what it takes to create a better economy…. We are screwed, really, in this country. I’m afraid for our kids and grandkids futures as they may be really dystopian…

Here’s the thing, if there’s state of the art technology on those cars, you’d have to remove it which is expensive to do, in order for the car to be useful to you. If the car cost 40,000 dollars, 10,000 dollars of that is electronic and computers which has to be taken off at your expense. So if you pay 50,000 dollars for a truck let’s say, then you’ve got to spend another 10,000 dollars to try and remove it. So now you’ve spent 60,000 ddollars, when you should have only spent 40,000. Iffin say they never put it on there to begin with. This all stems from a regulatory problems with regard to safety and emission systems. But anyway, that’s my take on it all. I remember dealing with excessive electronic systems back in the 90s. It’s only gotten worst. Back in the early 80s, a relative who was a mechanic, was teaching me how to work on the latest generation of cars which had just been upgraded with emission components. He picked up a ball peen hammer, and said this is how you work on this stuff. Then he just smashed the stuff off. Wow was he ahead of his times. But since that time, it’s become impossible to remove it.
