in battle tatics against grimmel u dont have to kill everyone especially when ur gonna fight against cloudjumper u cant lay one hit on him avoid cloudjumper and go straight for grimmel

When they were trying to find out which poison was injected into cloudjumper, they could've just said it was that bug that the dragons got into themselves that made them wild in an rtte episode. It could have been that bugs poison or something from that bug. Simple. Also idk the name of it so I just call it bug.
