I’m so tired of psychic linebackers who swat down the ball when they weren’t even looking. And QB’s who throw automatically to a linebacker sitting in open space every time they get hit. And corners/safeties who are beat on deep crossers who shouldn’t be in on the play but jump the pass at an angle your receiver wouldn’t dream of animating for.

There was a glitch during MUT champs. If you let the game end no matter what the score was the game wouldnt be recorded. It happened to me 5 times. I have a recording of the last one

The blocking is enough to make you have a legendary Gutfoxx reaction. Hey EA at least make O-Line fall down to look beat. Getting beat on an angle to the inside because the linemen just quits in the middle of a play is garbage! Also match coverage and man align should be advantage defense. Also can I get just a lil’ bit of press when I call for it. Press coverage = ZERO coverage (not even legit bump and run)

Since the patch, the diving tackle animation is ridiculous. A defender will barely touch you with a finger tip while youre running full speed and it knocks you down

Old head here: been playing Madden est 98. It's truly sad that I had more fetures 20 years ago smh. A 100-pound cb gets thru blocks of Zach Martin smh. The zone patterns are terrible. This game is basically Blitz 2000. A glorified NFL simulation. This game shows how the NFL CARES two fucks about their fans. Otherwise, they'd allow competition again. Growing up, it was 4 NFL games on the market smh.

everything you said in this is pretty much all my complaints only thing i’d maybe add is if you line up you dline in a wide set (1-4 for example) the outside dlineman, just don’t even make contact with the Tackles just run right around them, but in that same play, it’s great run Defense, like man

I've played Madden since the first Madden and when they took out Maddens banter during the games , that did it for me. That and the Ambulance. The only Madden I remember was the PS2 version that allowed you to make your own camera. Running , static and passing. That was the most immerse Madden because I had my camera set up to where it was like being on the actual field playing the game as if it was real. One year and never again. That and how shallow it became with additions taken away only to be added again. Since they had exclusive rights they did nothing to help the game stand out , feel real or even be a viable simulation. Sad and hopefully the contract won't get renewed. If people could have stopped playing the game , they would have fixed it already. Just shows how people want something but just not willing to put in the work or effort.

Zones should match after a few seconds. There’s no reason a hard flat doesn’t match onto a table route that route bounces up the sideline. Patch double mug

By them nerfing the spin & juke it slowed down the gameplay it’s not fluid as it once was they keep messing with stuff that doesn’t need changing the zones are terrible the blocking is ridiculous & on kickoffs there’s issues with guys running backwards instead of forward down the field when kicking the ball towards the sidelines

I quit today and rolled over 90k training into mystery packs until I had zero coins and training left. I only pulled 2 87s, 1 86, 1 85 and no limiteds. Just brutal. Gameplay is bad but menu content used to keep my entertained until January but I am already done this year

I have an easy answer for every one of these questions and gripes, EA has no competition in the football game market! Imagine Samsung without Apple or Nike without Adidas. As for fixing the offensive line, they would lose a lot of money if no "meta blitz" worked, between the people that buy the game and base their gameplay around it and the KZbin videos showing how to do it.

Spot on in so many ways. It's an arcade game masquerading as a simulation game. The more I play it, the worse it gets. The thing that frustrates me the most is the angles that non-user players take on ball carriers. They don't take a pursuit angle at all...

As a casual that came back this year after a long layoff i noticed some of these things and some i didnt…one of my main gripes was the audio…playing on a surround sound setup was not immersive at all…it sounds so low and bland…u cant even hear/feel the hits. I Sold it on ebay while it still has a lil value.

Used to play MUT a lot over the years, but the decline in MUT content/quality was very noticeable over the years. This year I got NCAA instead, and waited for the free-play weekend to test Madden/MUT out. Lo and behold, my rookie premiere cards aren't in my account, but Alumni were. Not having it fixed over that weekend made the choice of not getting the game this year really easy. Still love the Den though, and am looking forward to the free beer later today!

There’s definitely some flaws in the animations that needs to be cleaned up, but they’ve added a decent amount to presentation like multiple announcers, the hits and graphics, the draft process and situations, made the game harder which I like. Playing on all madden last year I’d go undefeated in franchise pretty much, blow teams out and drop 50 60 a game. Now sometimes I actually lose a game in franchise.

My problems still lie in if you play offline. No overthrows, balls thrown in the dirt. No incomplete passes by the cpu, no d-lineman going up for swats, dbs not breaking on the ball for swats and deflections. Pass rush is nonexistent and not enough low scoring games. Also put kyler murray running style in. He's by far the quickest player in the league. He should be beating most qb spys and beating d lineman to the boundaries.

First year back after 5 years. Their playerbase is mostly hardcore. But they completely lost the plot on making primarily content in the store.. I want offline content playing sometimes chilling because I don’t play this much. But man are there gameplay issues. Everyone plays the same shit even in the worst divisions.
