Comparing my CRKT CEO to my Son's CRKT CEO Flipper. There are some obvious differences but there are actually alot of minor differences between them.

i did consider trying out this model when they fist came out cause the thin profile is really great. but i am not a big thumb-stud person, but i do really like your son's version with the flipper (although your thumb-stud version i think looks better), i may get one of these with the flipper (which i did not know about until this detailed vid), thanks kindly Jack, much appreciated !

I have the thumbstud CEO. It took a bit to get my fingers right. I wear an XL glove mainly because my fingers are long. Each time I pick the CEO up I have to get used to it again. Maybe I will try the flipper version. I am not sure I may try the Ria instead. I have to thank you for this review. Everyone was saying how great the CEO was and I started thinking why is this an issue for me. Glad to know I am not the only one that has an issue with the original CEO.

I like the flipper version so much more than the thumbstud one. I want the Ria also. Another knife I've almost bought a dozen time but opted for something else instead.

I dont have a thin profile knife like that yet. I've looked at the splinter by kizer I believe but just haven't done it yet. Thanks for the look!! 👍👍

I have a non flipper original and i really like it! The flip version seems just as good 👍

Thumb stub all the way. No snag. File to your preference right by the thumb hole for easier deployment. The thumb stud is really tucked away and it takes a minute to get used to.

Maybe because its slightly heavier and the handle is longer.

Hi there! I wonder why CRKT don't build bouth Features in one Knife. I bought the Version with the thumbs opener and got problems with it. If it where sharpener I cut my thumb.

I don't know, but I agree. Maybe the next version will. I like the flipper version alot better than the thumbstud version. It's so much easier the open and close plus the pocket clip is in a better position.

Why they are making the liner steel shorter than the scale on flipper.I like the original one liner and scale are the same length.and I think the blade of the original version looks better.

I don't much like my CEO with the thumbstud and the tip down pocket clip but the flipper version I like better.
