It is the most hated video on the channel! I get why some people don't like it but it was way before I was ready to be in front of the camera. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Glad you like the video.

How's the tension adjusting system physically change the retention? Pressure on what point of the trigger guard?
@TheRogueBanshee6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and posting a question. Understand that I am not a factor rep and these are my personal opinions. The trigger guard tension device adds pressure on the underside (bottom) of the trigger guard. You can always add retention by tightening the grommet screws like all Kydex holsters. However, I found that adds more "snap" to the draw as it pushes the gun into the indentations. The way I have this holster set up now is that I have a little bit of snap from the grommet screws (barely noticeable) but a much smoother draw because of the tension on the trigger guard.

Since you had to remove the two posts and screws of the trigger retention when converting to OWB from IWB, did the trigger retention remain the same or did you have to reset it? Also, when checking the retention of the holster in the beginning of your video, you used an empty gun (I understand it's for safety reasons), but that doesn't tell us how the holster will retain a loaded gun which is much heavier. While it may retain an empty gun, it may not retain a fully loaded gun. Thanks for the informative video. I wouldn't want to have to change from IWB to OWB and vice versa very often as it looks like it's not very convenient.

Thanks for watching! I have switched this back and forth several times (actually did 4 changes in March). It is kind of a set it up the way you like it and then leave it holster. While it is nice that you can convert it I typically live mine as an OWB holster. I have never had problems with retention but yes I do have to play with the screws a little to make sure that a fully weighted gun will retain well. I have found that the backing being leather, it does push the gun into the Kydex a little which helps with retention somewhat. I plan to do a follow-up article in a few months on the website with updates. I want to make sure I had over 6 months of carrying before I did an update.

I get it. It is hard to make an exciting holster video. This was also one of my first (if not first) product videos. Ia m still working on the format for these. Thanks for watching!

I know. that was back when I was uncomfortable being in front of the camera. I am planning an update video in which that will be solved. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the sarcastic comment. It is amazing that people are so quick to make a comment before knowing the back story so let me catch you up. This was filmed before I was comfortable being in front of the camera. If you look at my channel, all videos up to a certain point does not have me in the video other than man hands. Also, I working on how to modify my style to a review video. Admittedly, this was not my best work and I have been debating on redoing it with an update video on the product. Maybe learn a little about someone before you stone them to death.

@@TheRogueBanshee Stoned to death, a little too much but you are right man, I'm really sorry. I had been watching many videos since the day before on this very subject and no one would try it on, and yours was kind of that trigger that set me off, no pun intended. Again, please forgive me and don't let my comment discourage you from making more.
