Actually, tragic as it is, this movie probably wouldn't have been as good as it is if Brandon Lee hadn't died. Or at the very least, it would not be the same film. His premature death during the filming forced the filmmakers to re-edit and restructure the film quite a bit from their original script. If I recall correctly, the scene where Draven and Shelly were murdered (and where Lee was killed in real-life during the filming of) was not originally going to be presented in the PTSD-esque, trauma reenactment, flashback style that you see in the finished film, with Draven gradually recalling those events after resurrecting, but would pretty much open with those events occurring as is. Plus, the instance of art imitating life definitely adds something of a melancholy, poetic spectre hanging over all the proceedings and motifs covered in the film.

Brandon Lee is in every scene of this movie, except for the resurrection scene, transformation scene, running on rooftops scene, and Sarah seeing him in his house scene where it's done by CGI and stunt double.

Wish he had the katana just a few more minutes longer....but still one of the best scenes in history.

He didn't actually die in this scene. He died during the scene where the thugs break into his apartment.
@forever237210 жыл бұрын
he did die in this scene but they had to use another actor to do this scene again

+Vuthegangster Hd Bruce didn't get shot, he got a disease that causes extra fluid in the brain. The disease had a weird ass name, but look it up.

24 years after this was done, there was a music video shot in Australia and one of the scenes they shot at a guy in the clip and he actually died the same way and he was the same age as Brandon Lee, its unbelievable how stuff like this can turn into a tragedy in a split second Rest In Peace to Brandon Lee & The guy who died in that music video in 2017.
