Hasn't anyone noticed that Charles betrayed Diana's trust, by giving away the fact that he had met her, after she expressly asked him not to tell anyone, especially her sister, that they had met and had conversed? I feel sorry for any actor playing the King because it is simply impossible to pull off his signature awkwardness and lack of appeal. People making comments about him being interested in a much younger woman are missing the point. I think the appeal of Diana was that he would have time to fool around while waiting for her to come of age. That, and she had no lofty academic or business goals to give up. She wanted to be a mother. It probably seemed like the best job opportunity in her chosen field to be the mother of the future monarch.

She was just a 16 year old girl when they met. I would hardly call it stalking, just a normal teenager infatuated by a literal prince that her sister was dating and dying to meet him.
