It really is. (My mom's hometown.) However, it has been known to have frost and/or snow in what other places call "Summer." (I've seen it.) It does have spectacular scenery and the highest point in the West Kootenays, called "Old Glory" peak. (No, really.) Indescribable.

Wonderful trip and your return drive reminded me of the drive I took from the east coast to the Seattle area in late November. I was on I-80 driving west and had aleady climbed up and over the Continental Divide, I was worried about encountering snow as I drove higher across the Rockies, but was relieved to find no snow at the Divide. But a few hours later as I reached the border of Montana and Idaho, the road climbed higher as as it did the interstate got more and more covered by snow to the point where right at the stateline! The road at that point looked like it had a couple of inches of not yet plowed snow and I was nervous about the srive going down the other side, so scared if fact that I made a promise to go back to attending Mass on Sunday if I got safely down the Idaho side....which I did and as the altitude lower so did the snow disappear.....I kept my promise, more or less!!!! Thank you for the entertaining videos Nicole!

You got The Touch making videos, and probably photography as well. I'm very impressed by your landscape views, and stories. Although very short and quick-cut, those already have deep recreational effects on the viewers. Do you know the videos by Itchy Boots, another lone rider from the Netherlands? You've got the very same positive and happy aura like her. Why don't you put more effort into your travel videos, or photographs, please? Wish you all the best, to find your personal equilibrium.

Nicole, your videos are such a joy to watch. The scenes along the nature reminds me of my many cross country road trips across the US, though my sights are vastly different than your Canadian routes. That said, seeing those nature scenes just gives me a sense of wanderlust, and makes me want to hit the road again, except my car just died and now i'm stuck at home. The part where you were pumping your tire was something I had to do just a few days prior too, in the middle of nowhere small town Nebraska. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of your life, the slices of wood and your okie dokies. You are appreciated.
