And then he gave out a loud cry and breathed his last” etc so what was the loud cry? And did the book claim that was his last words? Or was that the last of his words that the book recorded? With “who discovered Jesus’s tomb?” 3 books say a group of women (who were Jesus’s followers) found the tomb to be empty but the book of John says Mary Magdalene. That’s not a differing account because John didn’t say ONLY Mary Magdalene went to the tomb. John 20:2 Mary says to the disciples “they have taken the lord out of the tomb and WE don’t know where they have put them!” So who’s the WE that Mary is talking about? Yes. And even if they were as selfless as Jesus was to decide to save Jesus's life, why was their name not mentioned? Even if Jesus didn't testify who that disciple was, why would none of the other 10-11 disciples say who died for Jesus? Mary is remembered for her offering of ointment unto Jesus, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus are remembered for burying him in a tomb, but you're telling me that the disciple who offered to be crucified to save Jesus goes unnamed? Something critical missing there.

Easy refutation because of the contradiction and our disciples different Who was Joseph’s father? Matthew 1:16 …and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ. Luke 3:23 Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years of age, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli, Both Matthew and Luke give us very early in their gospels the genealogy of Jesus’s father (or step-father, or whoever he was anyway… it’s not clear). The two accounts differ from each other in nearly every generation, even including the very first preceding Joseph. Apparently, Jesus didn’t like much to speak to them about his grandpa. When was Jesus born? Matthew 2:1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, Luke 2:2-3 In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. Matthew and Luke, while discussing the events related to Jesus’s birth, give us slightly different accounts with regard to the public circumstances of the time. Logically, one of the two must be wrong, as Quirinius was appointed legate of Syria in 6 AD, a whole decade after Herod’s death in 4 BC; and only after Herod’s son, Herod Archelaus’s banishment, in the anyway contextually absurd case one might argue that he was the one Herod referred to. Where was Jesus born? Matthew 2:19-21 But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying, “Rise, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the child’s life are dead.” And he rose and took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel. Luke 2:2-6 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. Still discussing Jesus’s birth, the two Evangelists do not quite agree whether the holy baby was taken or born in Bethlehem. How did Joseph and Mary treat little Jesus? Matthew 1:20-23 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel”(which means, God with us). Luke 1:30-33 And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” Mark 6:4 And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.” Here, Matthew and Luke finally agree that Mary and Joseph had every good reason to honor their son. However, according to Mark, Jesus himself does not seem to believe that he has received the due honors. Is the Mosaic Law subject to ever undergo change? Matthew 5:18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Here's part of what the prophet Isaiah said about the Messiah: "Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities." (Isaiah 53: 10-11, NIV). In other words, Isaiah said G-d Himself would treat the Messiah's death as a sin offering (which is why Jesus' crucifixion is often called a 'sacrifice'). The same passage says the Messiah would be raised back to life and be highly rewarded --- He would see the light of life and be 'satisfied'. The Messiah's sin offering would be on behalf of His figurative offspring (i.e. believers) to pay the price for their sins (i.e. bear their iniqities). This was written by Isaiah about 600BCE, or 1200 years before the creation of the Quran.

Those writing were not there at the birth. They are recounting based on public records of the time and what others had told them. Ok some break downs: Both Mary and Joseph were of the line of David. Why Matthew went through Joseph instead of Mary I don't know. You are missing the earlier career of Quirinius. He was in command of the armies as the Legional Legate for the region of Syria from 12BC - 4BC. He governed along with Titius, Saturninus and Varus as Imperial Legates. He had all the same authority (including governing) as the other three. As the wars moved from the region so did he. To end his career he became the Resident Imperial Legates of Syria from 6AD - 12AD. This means he was governing during the end of Harod's life in 4BC. Jesus was born in Bethlehem and an angel came to them and warned of Herod's anger so they fled to Egypt. Harod then ordered the mass slaughter of all young males below the age of three. Then after Harod's death the angel came again and told them to return. The rest you just need to look at context in the story of why its stated.

Mark 7:19 …since it enters not his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.)

Dude, he refuted the perfection of Jesus, because the apostles (if we presume they were authors of the gospels) contradict in some of their claims about him. And we know of him mostly due to the assumed apostles. Disclaimer: I am sceptic of both the Quran and the Bible, but I emphasize on the Bible because the Quran is obviously full with contradictions, so debating it is easy and boring. So, there are 3 logical options I see: 1) Jesus lied to the apostles, gave different info to each of the authors, so he isn't perfect. 2) Or it could have been their own decision to lie about Jesus, which hypothetically leads to the variant that he might be perfect and not a liar, but then at least one of the 4 apostles, assumed authors of the gospels, is a liar. 3) Think about this - the oldest manuscripts of the gospels are anonymous works, but theologians claim that they are copies of what the apostles wrote. But who says that this is the case, theologians lack actual evidence to back their statement. So, these manuscripts might not even be copies of apostles' work, but forgery. Which leads to the 3rd variant: apostles and Jesus might haven't lied, but apostles' written work (if such existed) is lost and what we have is the fantasy of anonymous authors.

Christians also don't believe in facts, including when We say Yeshua never created the Christianity but came to reform Judaism. "If your justice does not exceed the justice Pharisees and Scribes, you will not enter in the Reign of Heaven". Christianity copied the Yovel (Jubilee), the immersion and called baptism, changed the times and feats like Dani'el prophesized, removed the fourth commandment and changed the second. Do you know the shabat is represented by the letter Dalet (ד) which means door? The Shabat is the door for the commandments and the messianic era is considered the Shabat of the world. But when I get people to speak these things, They reject the truth and keep with the same idea that Christians don't need to do anything, and will be saved and everyone will be condemned, which is for me such arrogance, considering Yeshua will only come for Israel and gentiles are just inserted into the Olive. Preaching against commandments saying they're abolished while making people pay "tithe", a thing that is also inside the 613 commandments is Satanic. But it is always easier to point to the other.

@@v_cartographer one of the proofs of the truth behind the confirmation of the Gospels' authors would be the fact that early Christians such as St Irenaeus and St Justin Martyr had undoubtedly believed that the Gospel of Mark is attributed to St Mark, the Gospel of Matthew is attributed to St Matthew, etc. These early Church Fathers didnt argue over the authors of the Gospels. Also, the Quran claims that the Torah and Gospels are the word of Allah as well, but also states that the word of Allah cannot be changed. So, if the Gospels were corrupted, only Allah could have done that. Why would Allah bring a prophet for revelation, and then quickly corrupt his own revelation- thereby necessitating another prophet? That makes zero sense!

Just as Christians hold their scriptures sacred, so do Muslims with the Quran. The Quran's account of Jesus and other events is clear and respected by over a billion people worldwide. How do I condense the proofs and still show you that Jesus(pbuh) didn't die on the cross, that's my dilemma. I'll give a go and we can always elaborate Insha'Allah. We have to start with some context. Background Jesus(pbuh) had started to gain quite a following due to the miracles he was performing. The ruling Jews at the time, the Pharisees were worried about their positions and as a result, Caiaphas the Chief Priest said the following: John 11 [50] Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. [51] And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; It was not God that said Jesus(pbuh) should die in the Bible, it's actually Caiaphas, so that they could keep their high positions. Another thing to understand is that the Jews had a habit of challenging their Prophets(pbut), and we see this with the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) too, when the Jewess poisoned the food in order to see if the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) was actually a Prophet. There are many Prophets(pbut) that were killed in the bible with Zakaria(pbuh), the father of John(pbuh) being case and point. Likewise, they have in their books: If a person is hung, it is a sign that he has been cursed by God according to the Bible. Deuteronomy 21 [22] And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: Notice that in order for one to be put on the cross or a tree, they are guilty of committing "a sin worthy of death". Think about that for a second in relation to Jesus(pbuh), because the next verse is extremely important in relation to how God views this person on the cross/tree. [23] His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. The one that is guilty of a sin worthy of death, should be hung, and his hanging is a sign that he is accursed of God. So horrible is this person that one shouldn't waste time and they should bury them that same day so not to defile the land. Imagine, their dead body is such filth that thy pollute and dirty the land. That's how horrible that person is. What they wanted to do, is get rid of Jesus(pbuh) and if they were successful, in their eyes, he was not really a Prophet and therefore justified in their actions. The Prophets(pbut) were honorable people who were sent by God the Almighty and therefore would never be cursed, or shamed in front of people in the way these Jews wanted to do with Jesus(pbuh) while he was alive. Therefore he could never have been on the cross. Jesus(pbuh) Prophesied that he wouldn't die Jesus(pbuh) knew what they were planning and as a result went into the country side. Keeping this in mind, Jesus(pbuh) gave the people his most greatest miracle, a sign of his validity as a Prophet. Matthew 12 [39] But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: The scribes who were sent by the Pharisees to look for dirt on Jesus(pbuh) ultimately asked Jesus(pbuh) for a sign. Jesus(pbub) said take all other signs off the table, except this one, mother of all signs. [40] For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Jonas(pbuh) through out his ordeal was alive and never died. In the sea, alive, in the whales belly, alive, regurgitated onto the beach, alive. Just as Jonas(pbuh) was alive the entire time, Jesus(pbuh) will also be alive when people will think he had died. Remember, if Jesus(pbuh) ever died, he fails his own test. This sign wasn't hidden considering he openly told the scribes, which means his disciples knew of this as well. Who was really on the cross and what happened to Jesus(pbuh)? Not many know this, but there were two Jesus's in Pontius Pilate's custody. Jesus(pbuh) son of Mary(pbuh) and Jesus Barabbas. Matthew 27 [16] At that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was Jesus[b] Barabbas Pontius knew Jesus(pbuh) son of Mary(pbuh) was innocent as the Bible states: [18] For he knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus over to him. None the less, the Pharisees had told the crowd to ask for Jesus Barabbas to be released. But which Jesus was released and which one was on the cross? The bible gives us hints. Remember the people there at the cross obviously thought they had crucified Jesus(pbuh), and therefore he looked like Jesus(pbuh). But take a look at what happens on the first day: John 20 [14] And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Mary went to the sepulcher looking for Jesus(pbuh) but couldn't find him. But look at the verse above. She saw Jesus(pbuh) but didn't know it was him. If anyone could pick Jesus(pbuh) out of a crowd, it was his disciples and close companions, yet she couldn't recognize him. He even spoke to her and she couldn't recognize it was him until he mentioned her name. Further proof that Jesus(pbuh)'s face had changed is provided on the road to Emmaus. Luke 24 [15] And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. Jesus(pbuh) approached his two disciples, but look at what the Bible says: [16] But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. They didn't recognize him because his face was changed. They walked and talked with Jesus(pbuh) and the whole time they didn't know it was him until they sat down to eat. Just by observing his way of eating, they knew it was him. [30] And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. [31] And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. If the person on the cross looked like Jesus(pbuh) to the extent, the Pharisees and everyone around the cross through it was Jesus(pbuh), Yet Jesus(pbuh) didn't look like Jesus(pbuh), it couldn't have been Jesus(pbuh) on the cross. Which means someone else who looked like Jesus(pbuh) was on the cross, where as the real Jesus(pbuh) who didn't look like himself was else where. You have to die to be resurrected Now onto the fact Jesus(pbuh) according to himself, never died, therefore was never resurrected. Look at what Paul says: 1 Corinthians 15 [13] But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: Here Paul is establishing that according to his belief, Jesus(pbuh) was resurrected. This is the belief of majority of Christians. [14] And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. If Jesus(pbuh) never died and therefore never resurrected, Christianity as we know it today is false. He further says this: [17] And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Now lets look at the characteristics of a resurrected body given by Paul. [42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: [43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: [44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. We live having a natural body, but when we are resurrected, we have a spirit body. This makes sense considering if someone is beheaded, they are not raised with their head separate from their body. They are raised whole, considering their spirit was not beheaded. Now lets look at Jesus(pbuh) own statements about whether he had a natural body or a spirit body after the crucifiction incident. Jesus(pbuh) proving he was not resurrected, therefore he didn't die Luke 24 [36] And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. [37] But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. When Jesus(pbuh) visited them, they having heard the incidents of the crucification and now actually witnessed it, thought Jesus(pbuh) had died. Hence when they saw him, they thought he was a spirit. But look at what Jesus(pbuh) says to them: [39] Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. Jesus(pbuh) still had a natural body, which can only happen if he never died. He further proved it by eating: [42] And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. [43] And he took it, and did eat before them. Because a body that is resurrected, a spirit body does not need food, it is only a natural body of this earth that needs food. Further proving that Jesus(pbuh) never died, and therefore was never resurrected. Jesus(pbuh) was not on the cross, considering he didn't look like himself and the person on the cross looked like Jesus(pbuh). Then we see here, that if you are resurrected, you won't have a natural human body, you'll have a spirit body, therefore would not eat food. Jesus(pbuh) proved to the disciples that he had a natural human body, which means he was telling them that the never died, therefore had never resurrected. Again, the proof is all there, the problem is no one really reads what is being said.

At this point the only way for Muslims to reliably prove their claims that the disciples teaching were corrupted, would be to present historical evidence of a different gospel at the time of the early church. But what do you know? No such evidence exists. The shady one is the religion that starts up 600 years later claiming contradictory stuff.

@moosa86 There are multiple reasons 1. The Problem of Sin: According to the Bible, all humans have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Sin separates humanity from God, and the consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23). 2. The Need for Atonement: In the Old Testament, atonement for sin was made through animal sacrifices. These sacrifices symbolized the seriousness of sin and the need for a substitute to bear the penalty of death (Leviticus 17:11). However, these sacrifices were temporary and had to be repeated. 3. Jesus as the Perfect Sacrifice: The New Testament presents Jesus as the ultimate and perfect sacrifice for sin. Unlike the animal sacrifices, Jesus' sacrifice was once for all time. Jesus is described as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). His death on the cross was a substitutionary atonement, meaning He died in our place, bearing the punishment for our sins (1 Peter 2:24). 4. Fulfillment of Prophecy: Jesus' death was also a fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies, such as those found in Isaiah 53, which speaks of a suffering servant who would be pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities (Isaiah 53:5). 5. God's Love and Justice: The death of Jesus is seen as a demonstration of both God's love and justice. God's justice requires that sin be punished, but His love provided a way for that punishment to be borne by another. Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." 6. Reconciliation with God: Through Jesus' death, believers are reconciled to God. Jesus' sacrifice removes the barrier of sin, allowing for a restored relationship with God. This reconciliation is described in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19, which states that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. 7. Victory Over Death: Finally, Jesus' death and subsequent resurrection are seen as a victory over sin and death. By rising from the dead, Jesus defeated the power of sin and death, offering eternal life to all who believe in Him (1 Corinthians 15:55-57). In summary, Jesus died for our sins to provide a perfect and final atonement, to fulfill prophecy, to demonstrate God's love and justice, to reconcile humanity with God, and to achieve victory over sin and death.

It's a pretty fundamental difference actually, in the Quran most of the notable figures in the Bible are recast as prophets in a long line culminating in Muhammad. God looks after his prophets, and they obey him (as you should), therefore God would never have allowed Jesus to be killed. It's really a way of justifying Muhammad himself by projecting him onto previous figures, then taking out the various inconsistencies that happens when you do that (Jesus is not the only person to get a rewrite).
@intisarsalam43376 ай бұрын
Perhaps when you write things you should share your sources, because nowhere in the Quran does it state that Jesus asked his disciples to take his place. The only place it was spoken of was Quran 4:157-158. In fact popular belief among Muslims is that a conspiracy was made to kill Jesus, Allah made the main culprit who betrayed Jesus look exactly like Jesus, then he was crucified in Jesus’ place. Jesus was raised safe and sound to the heavens. Muslims also believe in the second coming of Jesus.

@jangtheconqueror5 ай бұрын
He stated that he got this story from Ibn Abbas. As a companion of Mohammed, you would think he would have transmitted a story as important as this accurately. To be honest, though, it doesn't really matter, because even the way you tell this story is flawed, because it still ends up with billions of people being deceived by that switch. Why would Allah do something like that? It makes no sense. He could have chosen any other way to punish the betrayer, as he did in the Gospels, yet he chose a way which led to people being deceived and believing that Jesus was God, a belief which is wrong according to Islam. Basically, Allah made a HUGE mistake with that one little action which served no other purpose. It's clear that Mohammed, or whoever came up with this version of the story, was just trying to 'disprove' or attack Christianity's core belief, when in fact his crucifixion is basically accepted historical fact. Jews believe it, atheists believe it, and certainly Christians believe it. Jews and atheists obviously don't believe in his resurrection or that his death paid for everyone's sin, but they accept his crucifixion as a historical event. I suggest you look up the ApostateProphet YT channel, he's a former Muslim who makes videos about Islam and its inconsistencies and uses mostly the Quran to disprove itself, so it's not like he's using an outsider perspective. It's just using the Quran and logic that he does it. He's also not a Christian so he's not trying to convert you or anything.

I'm a Christian, but I have heard Baha'is, who are similar to Muslims in many ways, in that they accept the Quran as divinely revealed and Muhammad as a prophet, as well as some Muslims, state that the Quran is not being literal when it says that Christ was not crucified; they argue that it is essentially saying that Jesus was literally killed, but that He is nonetheless alive, and they cite this passage from the Quran to back it up: "Think not of those, who are slain in the way of Allah, as dead. Nay, they are living. With their Lord they have provision." (Quran 3:169) So, they argue, when the Quran says that Jesus was not killed, it is not being literal, but rather speaking figuratively as that other verse is. Thoughts?

John 19:34 explains perfectly that Jesus died. When Jesus was pierced in his side with the spear by the Roman soldier, blood and water poured out of him. Had Jesus been alive, his heart would still have been pumping blood, and the blood would've left his body in spurts. Jesus' pierced side plainly shows his heart had stopped and it had stopped long enough for the blood to pour out, then for the fluid build up around his heart to pout out after. I'm also perplexed by the claim that a decoy was crucified in Jesus' place. The Sanhedrin were present from the moment they tried Jesus until Jesus gave up his last breath. They were so bent on putting an end to Jesus' ministry, they made sure he was put to death and made sure they'd witnessed it with their own eyes. Anything less would not have been acceptable for them, and they would've intervened swiftly if any attempt to "switch out" Jesus with a decoy were attempted. They wanted him dead and buried and saw to it that even his body was sealed in the tomb and guarded by Roman soldiers. Furthermore, to suggest that a decoy was used would've meant that not only the early Christians were in on a major conspiracy, but the Jews who rejected Christ were in on it too. The people who were present at Jesus' crucifixion all knew him and interacted with him.
@ajayghale92152 ай бұрын
3:32 He didn't predict he would die crucified in islam so i don't understand why you would claim it would undermine his role in islam. you say historians say the disciples of jesus believed jesus himself was crucified. you do realize islam says christanity was corrupted which means these "historians" also changed the whole story of jesus to make him god. you can't say islam claims the bible is corrupted then jump to the bible to prove your points. i've seen some videos that make strong arguments that are hard to debunk but your video's arguments make no sense and clearly weren't well thought.
@therandom35235 ай бұрын
Normally, I would make a long comment taking apart the video's arguments one at a time, but here I don't, because the video is riding off of 2 points laid down in the beginning of the video. At 0:56 the video says there is a hadith told by Ibn Abbas, which tells a story about Jesus speaking with the disciples before getting crucified. All I can say is, that it is simply not true. I cannot find an authentic source that states this hadith. He also gives no citation or credit, so I cannot tell you whether it happened or not The video proceeds to ride on the fact that the apostles were supposed to be Muslim, so their Bible interpretations should be taken as true. If they lied, Islam is wrong, and if they told the truth, Islam is wrong. But, no, because that point rides off the un-authentic hadith the video gave earlier. Without that hadith, the video is using the Bible to prove the Bible correct.

If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah has revealed, they are (no better than) those who rebel. This right here, literally tells the people to judge Allah by what is in the Bible. this means that the Bible is true and is not corrupted. we get another contradiction here to do with Jesus. So in simple terms, the Qu'ran says the bible is true and because the bible is true that means Jesus is indeed the son of God, which the qu'ran then goes onto say that the bible is false is in that Jesus is not the son of God. do you see the contradiction here? the Qu'ran itself is saying that it is false in that it says the Bible is true.

Look man, I don't mean to bash on anyone, but this video is all based on opinions. I'm not defending anyone here, I'm just pointing out that to claim that your whole religion is based on a single book, and then to turn around and say that it is infallible when you can't even prove who wrote the thing (there are no definitive signatures in the Bible or the Quran, both just claim that a significant figure said something), is silly. Even if there are similar stories throughout the Bible, it doesn't prove anything. So to try to solve any religious question with even the faintest intimation that you can come away with an 100% logically consistent and provable conclusion is ridiculous because the best thing you can site is your own opinion about what any of these books mean. Now don't misunderstand me, I am not denying that there is an objective truth. However, I think it silly to claim that anyone but God knows what the whole objective truth is, and you either see the whole picture or you don't. I believe in the first amendment of the constitution of the USA, and so I don't believe that it is particularly appropriate to go out and directly attack any one religion, as that kinda goes against the spirit of the first amendment. I guess what I am trying to say is that this video is kinda silly, because objectively speaking, this video is just an opinion piece, which seems to be a common thing for this channel. One example of how opinion is a fundamental part of this video is how the host of Testify doesn't seem to understand how Muslim people use the term Muslim. You see, if you ask anyone who practices Islam, muslim has two meanings/forms. There is Muslim proper with is a follower of the teachings of the Muhammad, and there are muslims improper which is just a good, God fearing person. If any of you would purchase an English translation of the Quran (I have a copy of "The Clear Quran by DR. Mustafa Khattab) it will probably make this distinction in the introduction. It describes the difference between the two as an "uppercase Muslim" vs a lower case "muslim," in a similar way to how we use "God" to describe the God of Christianity vs "god," which we use to describe other gods from extra Christian religions. So when they say Jesus and the Disciples were muslim, they mean muslim with a lower case "m." If you get a copy of the Quran like the one I have, you can gain this extra understanding for yourself, and if you understand that, many of the arguments in this video become extremely silly; especially if the person watching it is a Muslim and know that distinction. So basically, this argument isn't going to make any follower of Islam think twice about what they believe. it is just going to make you seem stupid to them. This is something I regularly see in Christian evangelism. They tend to just say what makes sense to them and talk past whoever they are arguing against. Now like I said, I'm not pointing this out to bash on Testify or anyone else. It just doesn't sit well with me to see some dude bash on something he clearly doesn't have the deepest understanding of. I simply believe that the best way to promote Christianity isn't by picking fights with other religious groups through silly opinion pieces on KZbin. I think that it is much more effective to instead talk about the deep and profound truths that Christian theology teaches than running a smear campaign. Basically, my message is, I think there is better material out there, and I thinkthat Testify can make better material as well. Good luck y'all, and sorry for the text wall.

After closely studying the Quran’s depiction of Jesus, I've concluded that: The Quran could be providing an accurate portrayal of Jesus and might be right about the corruption of earlier scriptures. Quran's Every Claim about Jesus Found in 1st -2nd Century Gospels: • Virgin Birth: Protoevangelium of James, Gospel of Matthew & Luke • His Miracles: 1. Speaking from the Cradle (Gospel of Thomas, Gospel of the Infancy of Thomas) 2. Healing the Blind and the Leper (Gospel of Mark, Matthew, Luke & John) 3. Raising the Dead (Gospel of Mark, Matthew, Luke & John) 4. Creating a Bird from Clay and Breathing Life into It (Gospel of the Infancy of Thomas 1:1-3) 5. Providing a Table Spread with Food from Heaven (Gospel of the Infancy of Thomas, John 6:1-14) • Jesus as a Prophet: Gospel of the Nazoreans, Gospel of the Ebionites • Not Crucified: Gospel of Basilides, Apocalypse of Peter One might say Quran brought it from all previous Christian scriptures but my question is all these texts were written in the 1st and 2nd century, approximately 500 years before Islam. This suggests that every claim about Jesus found in the Quran was already circulating among early Jewish Christian communities long before the Quran was revealed. The Quran’s claim that there was uncertainty about the crucifixion among people may indeed be accurate. Quran (4:157): "And [for] their saying, 'Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.' And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, certainly not." Quran (2:79): "So woe to those who write the Scripture with their own hands and then say, 'This is from Allah,' in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn." Additionally, Paul was the first person ever to claim Jesus’ divinity, crucifixion & resurrection. If all these claims are coming of only one person, Paul, then it’s quite plausible that he played a significant role in shaping the New Testament narrative, like an indirect writer. His mention in NT more than any other apostle screams biasness to me.

And in Qur'an, there is no passage about Jesus foretelling his own death. While the reasoning of the KZbinr sounds solid at first but when you look deeper, Jesus predicts his own death only in Bible, and not in Qur'an. So by denying Jesus' crucifiction, Qur'an contradicts with Bible. If Jesus never predicted his own death, it also means that he didn't sin or lie.

The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ are the best-attested events in world history. There are a lot of witnesses and there are no witnesses at all to what Mohammed supposedly received from an angel in the cave. But here are other arguments: In 4:157 the crucifixion is denied, although the findings are confirmed by historians (even those who were not Christians). But this is a substantive contradiction. In 19:34 Jesus speaks of his death, that he will die. If you claim this is for the future: (When will he die?) In 3:55 God speaks to Jesus and says to him: "I will cause you to die" (Arabic 'mutawafika') but since the 1930s, under pressure from Muslim governments, it has been changed in the Koran translations to "recall" or similar words, or it has been omitted. (Repeated in 5:117). Substantive contradiction. But in Arabic it is still there. 19:34 | 3:55 | 5:117 → 4:157. The next thing is: The whole thing is a theological contradiction in 6:164 and 53:48 No one (burdened with guilt) can take on the guilt of another. But Jesus was supposedly replaced by someone else (presumably Judas) on the cross. So that doesn't work. There are several historical proofs outside of the Bible, that Jesus was crucified: In 52 AD a Greek historian (Flagan) debated the crucifixion of Jesus and the accompanying circumstances such as darkness and earthquake. This was a mention within 20 years of it. Tacitus as a Roman historian at the beginning of the 2nd century, not mentioning the death of Jesus, described that Jesus lived under Pontius Pilate and Tiberius proved that it was 33 AD. Josephus Flavius as a Jewish historian. Historians described that Christians at that time believed that he was killed and resurrected. Can you show me a single historian in the first six centuries who denied the crucifixion? There is none. I recommend Josh McDowell's book "The Resurrection Factor" as irrefutable proof.

God said through Musa in Deuteronomium 19,15: "at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established." All of the Apostels got problems for their faith, trough public pressure and most died as martys, but they had not to die, if they deny their faith, but they didn't. ☝ Mohammed had no witnesses, only his own imagination of a so called "angel". From him he get a different salvation-path than Jesus gave the people before. So the Quran does not confirm the scripture the was given by God before, like it should (Sura 5:46...)🤷♀ God said in the Bible in Acts 4,12 through Paul: "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name (instead of Jesus) under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved." ‼ And he warned in Galatians 1,8-9: "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that you have received, let him be accursed." 😧 Then Islam came 600 years later, bringing a total "different salvation", and spreading it through the sword by subdueing all countries around. Jesus did not command that, he's the opposite and said in Matthew 26,52: "Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again your sword into its place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." Interesting, isn't it?🤔 May God open your Eyes and give you a humble heart, so that you will repent to the true God and get forgiveness and everlasting live. God bless you! 🙏

Quran 4:157 - The fact that it was still ‘made to resemble, or appear’ to them, proves Christianity true. Because the only way this could be done is if some sort of substitution or illusion was placed on the cross to seem as though he was Jesus. Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 are basically the main prophecies of Christianity in a nutshell (both in the Dead Sea Scrolls before Islam came about). The fact that someone was on the cross (by Allah’s will), seeming to have been crucified to people as the “suffering servant”, as these two scriptures infer, means that Allah was still inadvertently aligning with our scriptures and fulfilling them, and therefore confirming it. ---> The scriptures are about someone enduring suffering and crucifixion. Let the people of the book judge by 'what allah has revealed therein'….'allah revealed that': It still happened. It was ‘made to appear’ that someone in actuality was enduring suffering and crucifixion. Therefore Allah still confirmed our scriptures and they are not corrupt. He made a big mistake, stripping him of his divine status. Also, the fact that it was 'made to appear' to his enemies, allah has to account for that. Because Josephus and Tacticus weren't Jesus' enemies, so why have them write accounts of Jesus that didnt happen. Then allah purposely misled/decieved them and everyone reading their texts too. Also, your allah hiding the identify of who really dies in jesus's place for over 2000 years raises issues about his transparency. Is he scared to clarify who the culprit was because he would be ahistorical? First he was switched out with barrabas, then simon of cyrene, then judas?? (wheras the bible says judas hanged himself and his organs fell out.)The gnostic gospel of barnabas makes the same claims. What happened, was there a quick plastic surgery on the cross or something?? For the Muslims using the sign of Jonah argument, they would also need to substantiate your understanding of the prophecy, specifically as to *where exactly Jesus was kept in the heart of the earth for 3 days in the Quran*. Y'all have no time frame detailing the 'three days' that allah would save him - in 4:157 stating the crucifixion, (what we know as day 1 of the 3 days prophecy) that is the same day allah saved him, **so three days didn't even pass before he was saved by allah**. This prophecy you want to use according to the quran was not even fulfilled because three days didn't even pass before he was saved by allah, so your fellow muslim brothers arguments on this crumbles. (Also, Yeshua/Messiah means saviour. Why allah is saving the saviour defeats the whole purpose of the messiah.) The heart of the earth at surface level is easily known to be the grave/tomb. Also, 1 Peter 3:18-20 and Ephesians 4:8-10 describe Jesus descending to Hades/Sheol to preach the gospel to the spirits there, which can also be interpreted as the heart of the earth. Hallelujah!

Muslims often claim that the Bible has been updated or corrupted over time. This belief raises an important question about the authenticity of the verses within the Bible. If the Bible has indeed been altered, how can one confidently determine which verses remain true to the original message? Muslims often assert that the Bible has been corrupted or updated over time. However, they also cite certain verses to support theological arguments. This raises a logical inconsistency: if the Bible is corrupted, how can any verse be trusted as authentic? Muslims believe the Bible has been altered, which undermines the reliability of its content. This perspective casts doubt on the entire text. Consider the following verses which present contrasting attributes of Jesus and God: • Seen vs. Unseen: John 1:29 (Jesus was seen) vs. 1 John 4:12 (No man has ever seen God). • Human vs. Divine: Acts 2:22 (Jesus was a man sent by God) vs. Numbers 23:19, Hosea 11:9 (God is not a man). • Mortal vs. Immortal: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (Jesus died) vs. 1 Timothy 1:17 (God cannot die). • Tempted vs. Untemptable: Matthew 4:1 (Jesus was tempted) vs. James 1:13 (God cannot be tempted). • Weary vs. Unweary: John 4:6 (Jesus grew weary) vs. Isaiah 40:28 (God cannot grow weary). • Sleep vs. No Sleep: Mark 4:38 (Jesus slept) vs. Psalm 121:2-4 (God does not sleep). • Learning vs. All-Knowing: Hebrews 5:8-9 (Jesus had to grow and learn) vs. Isaiah 40:28 (God does not need to learn). • Limited Power vs. All-Powerful: John 5:19 (Jesus was not all-powerful) vs. Isaiah 45:5-7 (God is all-powerful). • Limited Knowledge vs. All-Knowing: Mark 13:32 (Jesus was not all-knowing) vs. Isaiah 46:9 (God is all-knowing). These verses suggest inherent contradictions if updates were indeed made to the Bible. If the Bible has been updated or corrupted, it stands to reason that all verses could be called into question. This selective belief in certain verses while dismissing others as corrupted presents a logical inconsistency. Claiming the Bible has been updated implies that any part of it could have been altered. Therefore, using specific verses to argue theological points while asserting the text is corrupted presents a logical inconsistency. How can one confidently rely on certain verses if the overall integrity of the text is in question?

This is pretty much all wrong. "It was not God that said Jesus(pbuh) should die in the Bible, it's actually Caiaphas, so that they could keep their high positions." Yes, God also said that he should die in the bible, plenty of times. I can show you them if you want. "The Prophets(pbut) were honorable people who were sent by God the Almighty and therefore would never be cursed, or shamed in front of people in the way these Jews wanted to do with Jesus(pbuh) while he was alive. Therefore he could never have been on the cross." That is not how Prohpets work, plenty of them were shamed and cursed. "Jesus(pbuh) Prophesied that he wouldn't die" No he said the exact opposite lol " For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. This sign wasn't hidden considering he openly told the scribes, which means his disciples knew of this as well." Being in the heart of the earth literally means to die, and if you read Jonah it also says he died "I called out to the Lord, out of my distress, and he answered me; out of the belly of *Sheol* I cried, and you heard my voice." Sheol is the land of the dead. "If the person on the cross looked like Jesus(pbuh) to the extent, the Pharisees and everyone around the cross through it was Jesus(pbuh), Yet Jesus(pbuh) didn't look like Jesus(pbuh), it couldn't have been Jesus(pbuh) on the cross. Which means someone else who looked like Jesus(pbuh) was on the cross, where as the real Jesus(pbuh) who didn't look like himself was else where." You are forgetting the part where Jesus tells them about how he died and he shows them the scares from the crucifixion. The bible says they didn't recognized him because he was mared beyond recongizability. "Because a body that is resurrected, a spirit body does not need food, it is only a natural body of this earth that needs food. " A spirtual body does still eat food, that is stated frequently in the bible.

@@briandiehl9257 Caiaphas' Statement vs. God's Will Claim: "It was not God that said Jesus (pbuh) should die in the Bible, it's actually Caiaphas, so that they could keep their high positions." Counter: While Caiaphas did state that it was expedient for one man to die for the people (John 11:50-51), the New Testament consistently portrays Jesus’ death as part of God’s divine plan. Jesus himself spoke of his death and resurrection multiple times. For example, Jesus said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life" (Luke 9:22). Prophets and Shame Claim: "The Prophets (pbut) were honorable people who were sent by God the Almighty and therefore would never be cursed, or shamed in front of people in the way these Jews wanted to do with Jesus (pbuh) while he was alive. Therefore he could never have been on the cross." Counter: Many prophets in the Bible faced shame and persecution. For example, Jeremiah was mocked and imprisoned (Jeremiah 20:7-8), and Zechariah was stoned to death (2 Chronicles 24:20-21). The suffering of Jesus (pbuh) was part of his role as the suffering servant prophesied in Isaiah 53, which includes the statement, "He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain" (Isaiah 53:3). Jesus' Prophecy of His Death Claim: "Jesus (pbuh) Prophesied that he wouldn't die." Counter: Jesus explicitly predicted his death several times in the Gospels. For instance, in Mark 8:31, Jesus says, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again." The Sign of Jonah Claim: "Jonah (pbuh) throughout his ordeal was alive and never died. Just as Jonah (pbuh) was alive the entire time, Jesus (pbuh) will also be alive when people will think he had died." Counter: The comparison to Jonah (pbuh) is about the duration of time spent in a place of death and darkness. Jesus’ statement in Matthew 12:40 is understood as a prophecy of his death and resurrection. The reference to "the heart of the earth" symbolizes being buried, and Jesus being dead before rising. Jonah’s prayer from the belly of the fish (Jonah 2:2) mentions "Sheol," a term for the realm of the dead, indicating a metaphorical death. Recognition of Jesus Post-Resurrection Claim: "If the person on the cross looked like Jesus (pbuh) to the extent, the Pharisees and everyone around the cross thought it was Jesus (pbuh), yet Jesus (pbuh) didn't look like Jesus (pbuh), it couldn't have been Jesus (pbuh) on the cross." Counter: The Gospel accounts state that Jesus’ disciples didn’t recognize him post-resurrection due to a change in his appearance (e.g., Luke 24:16). However, this does not imply a complete unrecognizability but a glorified form that could be revealed. Jesus showed his crucifixion scars to his disciples to prove his identity (John 20:27). Nature of Resurrected Bodies Claim: "A spiritual body does not need food; it is only a natural body of this earth that needs food." Counter: The Bible presents the resurrected Jesus eating food to demonstrate he was not merely a spirit. Luke 24:39-43 shows Jesus eating in front of his disciples to prove his bodily resurrection. A resurrected body in Christian theology is a transformed, glorified body, not merely a spirit but a physical body that transcends normal human limitations. The counterarguments provided demonstrate that the New Testament portrays Jesus’ death and resurrection as part of God’s divine plan, fulfilling Old Testament prophecies and Jesus’ own predictions. The recognition issues post-resurrection highlight a change in appearance, not a different person, and the nature of resurrected bodies includes both physical and spiritual elements according to biblical texts.
