There's something about this family that I like. This movie carries on the great "weird-family" tradition of some of the classic horror movies. This is an excellent film. I strongly recommend it.

Now that I've had some time to reflect on this movie, I want to say that Leonard was an exceptional character. It's easy for a screenwriter to write a one-dimensional bad guy. It takes real talent to write a bad guy who has the full gamut of characteristics. Leonard was somebody you could relate to, even if you didn't like many parts of his personality. He had kindness and compassion along with ruthlessness.

A great movie with exceptional acting. It reminded me of the classic experimental elements of a family keeping the generations from disappearing. Although, they had to use subjects, I kind of was rooting for the continued survival of the Crums. I enjoyed from beginning to the twist ending. BRAVO from a horror film lover.

This has to be one of the very best modern horror films that one has seen for a long time . Not only is the acting superbly carried out by all the characters involved but the story line is unbelievably superb as well. It reminded me slightly of the Psycho films which of course are now regarded as modern day cult classics in their own right . One would recommend this film to anyone to watch on a dark and stormy winter night anytime 👀Followed up with a ten star rating. ( Well Done Folks).

Grindhouse cinema is lampooned & typically dissed as mere cheap entertaining low end production B - grade schocky horror. .... But it can be an interesting 70s inspired era artform that never seems to die a slow death ! A lower budget often means a more interesting story is required to capture our interest ; script wise. ...... Characters may need to flesh out their role more often with bigger gesture and / or expression. Whilst not cutting edge in some ways ; they are an enduring hard core trend -- with elements of realism that suggest authenticity. Meaty; juicy; and tasty are terms that may spring immediately to mind ! Hatchet weilding maniacs are de rigeur. Motive is highly simplified -- right down to basic fear; pain; anger; survive , instinctive feelings. Sink you teeth into The Crumbs ; its mouth--- wateringly good Grindhouse ; and do not ask about the special sauce or pie of the week!
