No different to 16+20 Dec 26th both years BTC was 1-3% above Nov close then by 31st DEC Btc closed 15-25% higher than NOV close. Both 16+20 BTC didnt budge till 27-28th of DEC expect around the same.

I was finding the same data with AI yesterday that there's a pump on the 28th but I looked and the 20th fell on a Wednesday and a Monday in the previous cycles after Christmas. Meaning the institutional traders were back at their desks buying or selling but this time it falls on a Saturday so I have a feeling that it's probably going to wait till Monday before the pump. Also usually Sundays are the worst day of the week for crypto anyways if things are declining so I have a feeling around Saturday will probably bottom out or maybe even Sunday but I think people will start front loading by Sunday night thinking that there's going to be a pump Monday morning and Monday morning a lot of the institutional guys will probably be buying for the January run-up that everyone is pretty confident is coming whether it comes or not it could cause a run-up I think as early as Monday I don't think the 28th is going to happen this time but I could be wrong. I looked at how much we pumped the few days before in the few days after Christmas on those years as well as the 7 days before the 7 days after and it looks like we had bigger pumps the last two times percentage-wise One year was a 26% pump and the other year was like a 13% pump but this time we only had a 6% pump on the same time. So that was a strong sign of weakness for me last night so I went into safety anyway so I'm honestly hoping for a big dump in the next few days so I can put that 20% of my portfolio back into higher risk plays right now it's sitting in Bitcoin USDC and a smaller amount of ethereum in case we have a big dump. I got hit twice with those last two dumps in the last month and I lost about 30% of my portfolio so I'm trying to get better at capital preservation and using AI extensively for that and to teach me and to help me evaluate the markets better in the short term. I always say crypto is extremely predictable in the long term because of the four-year cycle but extremely unpredictable in the short term. I need to get better at predicting in the short-term or I'm going to fail at this market. PS none of this is financial advice and I'm definitely not a financial advisor

@@Drew-sy2bn Good info but look again btc 2020 started on the Saturday 26th pumped to 26k previous high for December was 24k which BTC ranged at this level from 19th to Xmas day. Similar thing for 2016 but market pumped started on the Monday 27th Dec. Yes you are right about the stronger bounce was quick 1-2 day back up unlike this year which has consolidated for 7 days so far.

The whales and (lizard people ) know we are all looking at these charts and saying hmm we fell under resistance. Why wouldn’t they use it to their advantage. The first thing i would do is go against what technical analysis is showing. Like shooting fish in a barrel. Best thing to do imo is be patient build your position and HOLD They are extremely greedy and eventually will push the price up out of their own greed. That’s what i wait for personally. Maybe it takes a day maybe it takes a year they will push it back up eventually imo. The other explanation is that it's just about traffic, KZbin market share, the more vids you put out, the more views, the more ads shown, the more income you get from the channel, etc. Some other Crypto KZbinrs like VirtualBacon put out content weekly, some others once a day, but yours is the most I have seen. I think in the short term he killed the Christmas run a lot of people were expecting a Christmas run I think that's why we jumped from 94 to 98 The day before Christmas is people thought there'd be a pump for Christmas and when that didn't happen I think a lot of people left the market. I don't think most people understand how the dollar affects crypto but they panic sell so easily when we're at such a pivotal number. I think 100,000 is a major psychological trigger for people just like 20,000 was for us in the last bull market We had so much trouble and it took so long to solidly break above 20 because it was the old all-time high. So I agree with you the dollar index does factor all of this and if the dollar weekends crypto strengthens and vice versa but I think there's more at play here with timing. I think no matter what happened the other day with the Fed I think Trump getting in on the 20th of next month will definitely pump the markets and it will pump before that maybe before the 3rd because of his swearing in I think once he starts to implement the policies depending on what he does on the first day around crypto. If he does nothing around crypto for a week then it could be a really scary time We could have a lot of volatility again but if that first day he starts signing executive orders around crypto as well we could have a huge run up especially if he keeps his promises
