This was one of the best shows on TV when i was a lad. I loved the presenter and his quirky eccentric ways also. It's being made again so lets hope it lives up to the great show of the past.

This team is a great example of the need to have confidence and follow through once you've figured out the room! Julia is the only person who understands the need to hustle the whole time. Richard gives them the most snarky quips but he also gives the most hints and explanations in this episode! It didn't help because of the one thing he couldn't teach them: if you have only 10 seconds left but the crystal and door are both in sight, you focus hard and GET THE CRYSTAL.

I could just keep looking at Richard and his tactics. 😍😁 One of my fav. shows during my childhood .. and I started watching it a few years after Richard O'Brien left the show , I guess. His voice and way of talking is so sweet.

My favourite part of this show is the absolute pointless crap the rest of the team shout through the door. Top ones this ep are ‘take your time’ six times during the same challenge and ‘positive thinking’ when trying to complete a puzzle

Growing up in Australia I had no idea what this show was but English friends rave about it during their childhoods and how great it was. I found this incredibly infuriating to watch, but maybe that's the fun - the fact everyone is an idiot? I dunno how this Richard guy put up with this stupidity. He is the saving grace of this show.

I'm confused by the ending on this - I thought a final score higher than 50 but less than 100 won them their second-tier choice of prizes? From now on, every room SHOULD have a auto-locking mechanism on every door. That way, the contestant wouldn't be able to bail out. Fail a minigame? Too bad. You're stuck, now your teammates have two decisions to make: relinquish one crystal to bail him/out or leave him/her behind and keep the crystals.

In my alternate version of this show, you can’t buy out team members. Part of the fun of this game, is the team communication, and getting out on time. I see nothing wrong leaving a game before you get locked-in. It would be smart for teams to call it early, when they realize they can use the extra time on another game.

Some teams have one or two members who are useless under pressure... this team, it's the majority of them.

the host has never been this helpful (spelling everything out) to other teams, and he was here from the get-go, not stopping. He also was not sarcastic or joking as he usually is, very straightforward with minimal acting. This leads me to think maybe some of them did have diagnoses or hidden disability, that had been disclosed prior. It would also explain why this episode is so frustrating for us to watch.
