The Cuckoo Clock Doesn't Cuckoo

I have the same problem although mine is battery-operated. It happened when my battery went weak and the cuckoo got stuck with it out the door. I changed the battery hoping it will go back to working normally but that didn't happen!! This is not the first time me changing the battery so, it is hopefully not a user mistake.
