The irony is the parasite always had the other two on its back from the moment they were eggs to helpless chicks. Now they are always on its back. I am curious what will happen when the bigger ones fly off… most satisfying bird video

Besides that, the cuckoo failed to push out the chicks many times because it was pushing against hill, not nest edge thus missed quite some feeding. Finally when it succeeded youtuber put them back, but egg eviction instinct was so strong it has to repeat the process again and missed a lot more feeding while the other 2 kept on eating & developing.

결말 알려드려요? 뻐꾸기는 다른 두마리 원래 새끼새와 그럭저럭 함께 공존하다가 큰형들 두마리가 먼저 이소하고 맨마지막에 이소를 준비하다가 둥지를 습격한 올빼미에게 잡혀서 어디론가 끌려갑니다. 아마 올빼미 새끼들 먹이가 되었겠죠. 먹이를 먼저 받아먹어서 덩치가 더 컸다면 먼저 이소했겠지만 그마저도 불가능한 뻐꾸기막내는 결국 둥지에서 생을 다했습니다 해피엔딩이죠.

Actually, I think this cuckoo is in a worse spot. Being eaten by a predator would be only a few seconds, maybe a minute, of terror and pain. Starving slowly to death over several weeks seems worse to me.

Cuckoo chicks fledge around 20 days. Its a race against time. The longer you stay at nest, even complete silence is not guarantee of safety but flight. Not to mention snakes use smell and infra red sense to track prey. By the way, the constant chirping means it's very desperate.

Очень интересный эксперимент. Обычно кукушата объедают родных птенцов, а тут наоборот. Тем более редко когда растут кукушата с другими птенцами. Чиатала, что кукушонок оказавшись в гнезде сороки объест до голодной смерти сорочат. А вот вороны способны выкормить и своих и подкидыша.
