With headphones on the bass sounds fantastic on this gig... Great performance overall... The Cult will always be my favorite rock band, no matter what

I had the chance to run into Ian on the streets a few years ago, and chatted with him, and he was the nicest most unassuming rock star ever. He was so willing to chat and give me info on his projects and never once gave off that air he gives off on stage.

I had a chance run in with Ian Astbury in 1999 and I agree he was nice unassuming and seems he liked just talking,so we shot the shit.......

He used to hang out with a buddy of mine and neighbors around the corner from me, here in Williamsburg Bk, at their apartment. He would come by their place and hang for dinner. I didn't know that till my friend told me after I shared that I am a huge fan of the Cult.

The audio is pretty sad on this recording but they are still incredible. They honestly are one of the grestest garage bands on the planet. Their sound style and distortion are what makes them great. Its 5:14 am and im smiling from ear to ear watching these freaks and loving every bit of it. Thank you to whoever has uploaded a butt load of cult videos in the last few days. Some of these are pretty obscure recordings. Im loving the slap back on the bass. Sounds like a bad woofer but im sure the level is up too high on that line. Ian looks like hes dying to dive off that stage into the crowd of little asians.

Did the band not like Matt Sorum. Ian and Bill look PISSED off during the interview at 16:00. When Matt talks, Ian keeps ignoring him, acting like he's not even talking. I realize this version of the band broke up right after this tour (for another 5 years), so the tension and dislike must be real. Matt seems nice though, but obviously not well liked by the others (Ian and Billy).
