Ah yes. I saw them do this on the original Love tour back in the day. This seems to be just as awesome.

Much prefer the 4 beat on the floor tom instead of the flam. More driving beat. Tempo much better for live too. Gets you jumping!

Bataclan in Paris... geez. A bad place to be recently.... :(

His voice still sounds good here. It doesn't seem like they needed to drop tuning at all.

@eelcloud a lot of rock bands tend to play songs at a faster tempo live

Great 2 song combo. I always liked these guys but they peaked too early. After Sonic Temple in '89 lost interest in anything they put out. Nice to see they can still make a living playing their old stuff.

I thought Ceremony had a few greats.

why can't they play this song as well as they did when it came out? W/another guitarist, it should sound MORE like the recording, not way less. Tempo's so fast it sounds like they can't wait to finish it... Bummer

Coming Paris 🙏yes, greatly💁mais j’ai l’impression que le Bataclan ne renvoie pas trop bien🎶à moins que le son musical soit trop fort... on a du mal à percevoir IAN💁But.... Lovely’s Him👄💥

its the drummer rushing the fast beat of this song way too fast
@Irisplove6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that's what I thought too. It loses that shuffle feel if played to fast.

I fucking love this band, but his singing is totally lost... i'm struggling to recognize the songs, what a pity. Come to think of it, he was always unbelieveable in the studio, live he sucked like Severina from day one...

Not entirely true. See the 1986 Hippodrome performance of this song. In places the singing is better than on the record, I reckon.
